She is the sister to one of my players, who happens to be a King in Yellow Warlock. Her father is a Goliath Vampire and her (dead) mother was human. Thess was sent by her father at a very young age to the boarding academy for Warmages. They are picky about who they accept, but she made her way through the ranks and graduated with high honor and regard.
