ROLE: Aria’s Father & Main Antagonist

HISTORY: In the history of werewolves there are those who choose to conform and then there are those who choose to be superior. Calvin has always had the mentality that he is superior. That humans are the inferior species and because werewolves are able to control two selves, they are meant to be the dominant force on the planet. This was something that he was raised to think and it intensified as he got older and started to form a pack of his own once he was off in the world. He met Dahlia - a werewolf as well - and so began his plan to have a group to children who would follow his footsteps and reap chaos and suffering to all in the Seattle area. He was successful with two but when Convallaria was born he met his match. He is a sadistic and narcissistic man who took out his frustrations on his children and wife in order to get what he wanted which resulted in them fearing him. Something he never cared about anyways since he never loved any of them to begin with. Including Dahlia. He keeps a close eye on Aria and makes sure that she is well aware that despite her wanting to run from him, he’s not going anywhere and he will be around to torment her existence as long as he can.

IMPACT: Due to her father’s constant abuse and tactics, Aria can say he is one of the only people she is genuinely scared of. He is the reason she watches her siblings like a hawk, he is the reason she has no friends and he is the reason she has never loved anyone because he can so easily take it all away. Aria has nightmares about her father constantly in adulthood and when she was a child she wouldn’t sleep out of fear that her father would wake her up and start beating her. If she at least stayed awake, she’d have some time to run. He has severely impacted her mental health and despite her keeping it together, she is always exhausted knowing he could be around any corner.

FUN FACT: despite there being a restraining order in effect, there was an instance where Calvin cornered his two youngest children and they were both mortified. Sequoia - despite towering over his older sister - cowered behind Narcissa who did her best to be brave as she tightly held his hand. This angered Calvin since Sequoia was supposed to be a man but he was just a disappointment - failing to realize he was only a 17 year old boy. Thankfully, she was in the area and Aria showed up as Calvin was about to swing on the teenagers. She stopped his hand mid swing, her claws digging into his skin as she glared at him and said ‘I’ll kill you myself before I let you hurt them’.

NPC MASTERLIST — featuring Brandon Delgado

FULL NAME: Brandon Elias Delgado

AGE: Twenty Four

VERSE: Sweet Texas & Miami Escapade

ROLE: Alexia’s Toxic Boyfriend from College

HISTORY: Gavin is a Florida native who has always been the kind of man who most women tend to avoid. He would be the kind of young man in college that would think that he had game but would end up making girls uncomfortable given that he had a tendency to not understand the word ‘no’. Due to this, he often would look for girls who were more on the shallow side and bordered on dumb because they would never really say anything against him and did as he asked. He met Alexia at a party one night when she was drinking and took an interest in her the second he noticed that she was wearing a very expensive Cartier bracelet on her wrist. A gift from her mother when she had graduated from high school. From that moment, all he saw were dollar signs and he wasn’t about to let that slip away when he was brought up on nothing at all.

IMPACT: due to her constant need for validation and the need to feel accepted, Alexia falls head over heels for Brandon within the span of a week which is exactly what he wanted. It doesn’t take long before he is making her give him money and getting things from her despite the fact that it’s completely by invalidating her feelings and using manipulation tactics. Despite being incredibly smart, Alexia can’t grasp that he is using her and Brandon takes advantage of that every chance that he gets. Brandon is horrible for Alexia’s confidence and mental health as he fuels her insecurities and fears of being alone with no friends which she’s had for so many years.

DOES HE EVER HAVE GENUINE FEELINGS FOR ALEXIA? Absolutely not. He has only ever seen Alexia as a walking dollar sign and a body that he can sleep with whenever he wants. If he was ever asked how he felt about her, he would roll his eyes and just shrug his shoulders with not much else to say aside from pointing out that she was hot with a nice body.

DOES HE EVER CHEAT ON ALEXIA? Consistently. Alexia is actually very aware that he has been with other girls in their time together but given that she is easily manipulated, he has tricked her essentially into allowing it despite the fact that she doesn’t actually enjoy knowing other girls are with him.

FUN FACT: when Alexia breaks up with him, he laughs in her face and says ‘that’s funny, Lex’. And this is the first time Alexia stands up for herself and tells him that she wants to be single and find herself so she doesn’t disappoint her parents anymore. Alexia is shaking the entire time and Brandon does yell at her which scares her but she stands firm and he scoffs when he leaves saying she’ll come crawling back to him eventually. Which she does do until the day he hits her.

NPC MASTERLIST - featuring Gavin Kellerhouse

FULL NAME: Gavin James Kellerhouse

AGE: Twenty Two

ROLE: Madeline’s future boyfriend

PERSONALITY: charming & educated with misogynistic undertones which are revealed over time.

HISTORY: Gavin is a young man from Montreal who is attending the University of Toronto where he is studying to be a lawyer. He initially wanted to go to school in America but there were some issues with getting the paperwork in order so he chose to go to his second choice school in Canada. He presents himself as a charming young smooth talker who often times is able to captivate the young women of the university by being helpful and a gentleman when so many of the campus young men tend to be the exact opposite. When he meets Maddie, he doesn’t really take an interest to her at first because she doesn’t easily seem to be charmed by his ‘prince charming’ style demeanor but one of his friends is able to convince him to keep trying and eventually is able to get a date with Maddie - date that Maddie doesn’t even want to go on at first because getting over Tate is a lot harder than she ever thought it would be.

IMPACT: Given the way he presents himself, it doesn’t take that much time for Maddie to develop feelings for Gavin and become smitten by him which leads to a horrible case of blindness. This blindness is what leads to him slowly revealing his actual personality to the young blonde over time knowing all too well that she will simply accept whatever it is since she is invested in what they have going. This leads to many instances where he degrades her body, instances where he simply disrespects her boundaries, instances where he disrespects her familial responsibilities, instances where he just flat out is inconsiderate of her feelings and instances where he is even controlling of what she does and who she hangs around.

ARE HIS FEELINGS FOR MADELINE GENUINE? Yes. In the beginning he very much does like Maddie and thinks that there is a lot of potential for them but who he is deep down overpowers what he sees and it leads to him wanting to mold her into something more. Something she is not.

DOES HE EVER CHEAT ON MADELINE? Yes. Due to being blinded by how she feels, Maddie never suspects that him cancelling plans last second or simply having late nights at work could simply be because he’s busy going to the club to find a hook up for the night. The irony here is that if he ever found out that Maddie cheated on him, he’d lash out and instantly call Maddie a whore. When he actually does it well before Maddie.

FUN FACT: Gavin is incredibly jealous of Tate and has been jealous of him since the moment he found out him and Maddie had some kind of connection. The jealousy comes from some internal insecurities and it only gets more intense when he learns that Maddie and him were once much more than just best friends and consistently shared a bed.
