"So you say, but you just... well, haven't found them I guess, or is it that the idea of it, I don't know." He then blinks at that next part and a small laugh. "You already know what I'll say to that again. Not like anyone catches my interest, and no one is interested in me anyway." He sips on his own drink. "The way you said those words still."

Emilio looked over at him with an unreadable expression. "I find that hard to believe." He was like Souji, after all. He was cute and small... and strong to boot. Souji had people hanging off him, so Misaki may not see it, but for Emilio it was just a matter of simple correlation.

But for him to be interested in no one... that he understood. They were the same in that aspect. "Besides, if we do have someone, that would give Souji ammo, and we can't have that, now can we?" he winked.

"You know, Sou... for a person who uses blades most the time, you sure do prefer men with big guns..." Chris, Leon, Carlos... he knew he said Souji had a type but sometimes it becomes a bit too obvious

"OH MY GOD EMILIO SHUT UP!!!" an agent dying of embarrassment...

Don't mind him, he's scooting away from said agent, searching desperately for the new fidget toy as a peace offering.

"That's what I mean, you're not focusing. That's a dead end, it's this way. " The mood changes again seen easily on Souji. Walking towards there instead and in the right direction and not one that would've ended them.

He gasped, looking back. He sighed dejectedly. He really was out of it. Fuck, why now of all times? "Honmaru..."

"Extraction eta 5 and a half hours... just keep going your current direction, and you'll be there in plenty of time to get some rest..." A bit of a pause. "You alright?? You haven't checked in for a while..."

"I'm great... You know me. A fuckin ball of sunshine wherever I go..."

". . ." He was that bad. "Hang on just a little while longer, Sou... This time I'll have to chain you to a bed to get you to rest between dispatches..." He knew the other was on his last legs, but he wasn't going to argue. He knew why he volunteered himself.

"Emilio... Sou-chan has been more to himself again. Did he have another nightmare...?" He hugs the other more on his lap. "Going out like that isn't safe, especially in that mindset..."

"Yeah... I know. He won't talk to me about it, but if I had to guess, he had the same nightmare..." he said softly. He lifted his chin, resting it on the top of Misaki's head. "He had to keep someone from turning..."

And when he did, he always did this, running off, banging everything he saw and drinking himself numb... Nothing he could do would stop Souji, either. He hated watching it. "I know it's not safe... but he won't listen to me..."

"I... know, but.. but..." Fingers clinging more, looking up at him. That look still from Misaki shows how that does trigger his emotions still.

Poor thing was trembling. He simply hugged him tighter. "I know... It's painful to think about. You're not gonna lose me, Misaki. I'm right here..." Poor thing has already lost so much, just thinking about the far-fetched made him turn so very emotional. All Emilio could do was hold onto him and hope that presence and creature comfort would calm him down.

"Nooooooope, nope, nope, nope..." Hitting away that saying -- the trigger and emotions that was felt hearing that. "He's... not out there, he's inside." Clinging more to Emilio who's very dear... and even if himself and Souji is out more... the risk still remains, but still.

"Shhhh it's fine, Misaki..." He had his hand in the other's hair, stroking it gently. "I got no business going outside, and you know it. I'm far away from the danger, alright?? Don't let that get to you..."

"Hmmm..." Arms holding Emilio more, staying more on his lap. "Take a break..." Been a while after all that he's seen Emilio taking one.

Fingers touching Emilio's hair more. "Please...~?"

He looked over at the clock, seeing how late it was, and he couldn't help but smile a little. He'd been working for hours, it seemed. He sighed, nodding, leaning into the soft touch to his hair. "Alright. You hungry?" He pulled away from the computer, both arms around Misaki as he leaned back on his chair.
