I really liked the dual screen battle system in The World Ends With You
thanks so much for the congrats AND the concern! ♥ trust me, though, i’m well aware it’s a treasure and i treat it like one. i handle it like it’s glass and aside from the couple of minutes i had to record with it for the gifs, i haven’t taken it out of it’s sleeve and binder once since i pulled it three months ago.
you have no idea how hard it was to resist the urge to dance around the room with it, though? i had so many doubles out of the burning shadows set and could barely justify continuing to buy booster packs but i wanted it so bad. i don’t take the fact that i finally pulled it for granted!

This is just a pokemon Go spinoff that's designed to trick people into buying it. The next "real" pokemon game on the switch is coming in late 2019
That’s a super weird outlook on it.
Doesn’t seem any less devious than releasing a “real” pokemon game, and then releasing an enhanced version of the same game with exclusive new pokemon the following year.
But this new idea is somehow a “trick” to get people to buy the game?
Not liking the idea of having Go mechanics is one thing but acting like this is some sneaky underhanded plot to steal your money is absolutely bananas. They’re not hiding anything.

it might not work into your strategy, but a good option for dragonite might be Acrobatics if it can learn it. with that attack stat and a stab boosting flying type it would be a really strong move for it. downside is it requires you not to give it a hold item
it actually can’t learn acrobatics by any means unfortunately! that’d be a swell idea if it could tho

how much fuckin effort griffin has put into it? he says he’s put more work into TAZ than he has into most other things in his life and i’m sure he’s being sort of hyperbolic, but as someone who has also spent a hell of a lot of time building a d&d campaign, I totally buy this.
