NPSU legislator to join PFP caucus

The People First Party (PFP) today stated that tomorrow Non-Partisan Solidarity Union (NPSU) Legislator Kao Chin Su-mei (高金素梅 aka May Chin aka Giwas Ali, mountain indigenous district, Atayal tribe) and the PFP caucus will tomorrow hold a joint press conference to announce Kao Chin will caucus with the PFP during the next legislative term.

PFP Spokesman and Legislator Lee Hung-chun (李鴻鈞, party list) noted that during the last legislative session, Kao Chin formed a new cross-party caucus together with PFP legislators Lee Tung-hao (李桐豪) and Chen Yi-chieh (陳怡潔) and MKT Legislator Hsu Hsin-ying (徐欣瑩), and Kao Chin has always had a close relationship with the PFP, and they can work together on many issues. Therefore, she has decided to continue working with them in the next session by joining their caucus, which will then have four people (she and the 3 PFP party list legislators).

Kao Chin has previously had a close relationship (S.tw: long extramarital affair) with former Minister of the Interior Lee Hung-yuan (李鴻源), who was the most important policy staffer on PFP Chairman James Soong’s (宋楚瑜) presidential campaign.
