Nova looked down the file in his hand, frowning as he read through it. After a moment he looked up at Gale and Max.
“Are you two sure about this?” he asked almost hesitantly “You do remember what happened last time we worked with these bastards, right?”
Gale nodded. “I remember, but it’s good money” he said.
“Oh yeah?” Nova asked flatly “And do we really need that money?”
“We’ve got bills to pay next week” Max said “And the account is almost empty. So yeah... We do need the money”
Nova tisked and shook his head, handing the file back to Gale. “Fine” he said, pulling his hand through his hair “But if the princess squad shows up, I’m not pulling back”
Gale nodded. “That’s fine” he said “Do what you want”
“Like you can stop me” Nova said “Get ready so we can go. Better scout out the place before the meeting”
“You don’t have to tell us that” Max said, folding his hands behind his head “We know how to do our jobs”
Nova looked at his younger brother, before his tisked again and left the office.
Gale and Max stared after him.
“He’s an idiot” Gale said, shaking his head “I’m pretty sure that he’s not using his brain today...”
“That’s because he and the Princess don’t want to admit that they like each other” Max said with a smirk, causing Gale to start laughing “Just don’t tell him that... Cause he’ll try to claw your eyes out”
Gale just laughed even harder. “Damn.... You’re right...” he managed between the fits of laughter.
“Of course I am” Max said with a grin “I have experience with that...”
“Shit... I forgot you said that to his face...” Gale sputtered “I thought he was going to take your head off that day”
Max shrugged. “I know when to pick my battles, Gale” he said with a smirk.
“Surprisingly enough... you do” Gale said.

Nova folded his hands behind his head, his bichrome eyes glaring daggers at the men in front of him.
“I should have fucking knew it” he said “This doesn’t even surprise me any more... We give you another chance and you go and fuck it up again. I should have just killed you the first time”
The men in front of him, sneered. “We’re not afraid you brats” the leader said.
Gale sighed. “You know what...” he said, looking at his brother “I’m actually glad we took this job”
“You’re glad that you’re going to lose all of the cargo?” the leader asked amused.
Slowly Gale looked at the man. “Are you kidding me?” he said “Of course not. Just how stupid do you think we are? I’ll explain it in small words so you can understand....”
Nova lifted his hand, stopping Gale from talking any further.
Max snickered. “Oh this is going to be interesting” he said.
“You people are really stupid” Nova said coldly “If you pay us what you owe us, we might let you leave here alive”
The leader of the group laughed. “Like we’re afraid of a bunch of kids” the man snorted “Hand over the cargo and we will let you leave alive”
With that all of them pointed their guns at Nova and his brothers.
“You have got to be fucking kidding me” Nova growled under his breath as he power activated. Everything around them lifted into the air. “You are really stupid...”
“What the hell are you?” the leader asked as Nova sneered at him.
“I’m your fucking worst nightmare” he snarled “I would have allowed the betrayal of last time slide, because you pay good money, but twice? Now you will see people don’t fuck with us and get away with that shit”
The gunfire echoed through the air.
They slammed into Gale’s shield that formed around the brothers.
Nova sneered as he slowly walked forward. He moved his hands, small pebbles shot towards the men, like they were shot from a gun.
The pebbles ripped through three of the men. They fell to the ground in bloody heaps.
“There we go” Nova said with a twisted smile as he kept on walking closer to the leader “And now there’s only three of you left...”
“What the hell are you doing?” the leader screamed at him.
“Oh don’t be so dramatic” Nova said “You were warned. The moment we took the contract... We warned you that this is going to happen if you betray us again... But no... You just didn’t want to fucking listen”
Gale snorted, not looking in the least surprised about what’s going on.
Max pulled a face before he walked up behind Nova.
“Oh just finish this already, Nov” he said, leaning on his brother’s shoulder “I’m getting hungry”
Nova looked at his brother, before he turned his attention back to the leader. “Pay up, or else I’m going to kill you as well” he said.
“Like hell...” the leader started, but a pebble tore through the man’s arm, quieting him.
“There we go...” Nova said “Are you going to do what I say now?”
The man snarled at him and Nova sighed.
“Or not” Nova said before he shot forward. Within second he took down the man and the rest of his men. As the last man fell, Nova stepped back, wiping his hands on his shirt. “Fucking mess”
“I agree...” a woman’s voice said from behind them.
Nova groaned and turned towards the voice. “Are you fucking kidding me?” he asked as he turned towards the voice “What the hell are you doing here?”
Amilia looked at him with a flat expression. “Hallo Nova” she said “What did you do this time?”
“Me?” Nova asked, as innocently as he could “I was just doing my fucking job, Princess. What are you doing here?”
“The same as you, Nova” she said “I’m doing my job as well and that is to stop you from needlessly killing people.... like you’ve just done”
“Look here Princess” Nova said as he walked towards her “I really don’t like you sticking your nose into my business all of the time. It’s getting really fucking annoying”
“Then stop breaking the law” Amilia snapped back.
Nova snorted, before a sneer formed on his face. “Oh please... I’ve got red in my ledger and I don’t give a damn about it” he said “Do you really think I’ll stop just because you asked nicely?”
Amilia glared at him, stepping forward, so the two of them stood face to face.
“You need to be put behind bars” she said coldly.
“I really don’t fucking care what you think, Princess” Nova snapped “You and your little gang of...”
Before he could finish, Amilia punched him in the face, breaking his nose. Blood dripped down his chin as he hand went up to his face.
“A bit violent, are we, Princess?” he asked, as the blood dripped between his fingers “That was a pretty good punch for a princess”
“If you don’t want to get hit again, get the hell out of my sight” Amilia snapped, her eyes narrowing at him dangerously.
“I don’t want to” Nova said “You broken my nose....”
Gale and Max laughed from where they stood.
“Serves you right” Max said “Don’t taunt her and you wouldn’t get punched”
“Shut the hell up, Max” Nova snapped as he pushed his nose back into place.
“Maybe you should listen to you brother a bit more” Amilia said “Now if you don’t get out of here. We’re either going to fight or I’m going to arrest you”
Nova narrowed his eyes at her for a moment. “I’ve already gotten what I wanted” he said coldly “I’ll see you later Princess”
With that he shot up into the air, leaving Amilia and his brothers behind.
