Woodpigeon. He is the Hagrid of this coffee shop: he looks simply too big to be allowed. They are much, much larger than regular pigeons (rock doves). The first time I saw one of these guys in London I kinda freaked out.

Chaffinch, male (the colorful one with the pink cheeks) and female (the plain one with the little brown hat). Never seen these guys before. He's so pretty! And that's not the lady in the middle shot, that's just a sparrow. But no one would blame you for confusing them.
Blue tits at feeding time. I think the great tits might have already left their nest, because they don’t show that room any more. http://www.nrk.no/piipshow/
This woodpecker is very disappointed by the other patrons.
What do YOU want?
(This is my favorite screenshot I've captured, by far.)
Male (left) vs. female (right) Great Spotted Woodpeckers: similar except for the little red hat the guys wear.
I just checked in with the piip show, and the blue tit babies have hatched, and the great tit babies have gotten so big! I am en route to a field job in Virginia, so I didn't really have time to mess around with screen shots, but I highly recommend that you check it out.
Why is there a flag on the bar today? Why, it's Norwegian Constitution Day!
