Summary: Alex’s school trip goes south when bad guys crash through the museum wall. Luckily two of the ninja show up just in time before he’s hurt

Free time... the short but sweet few minutes where as long as you were with a buddy, you could go and view whatever you wanted within the school trip area.
The problem? Alex didn’t have anyone that wanted to see the dinosaur exhibit with him. The solution? Sneak off while no-one was watching. Ninja style~
Alex ran through the halls, retracing the path towards his destination, all while wondering why he couldn’t find a partner to come with him. They were giant lizards who once ruled the earth and could fly, how could people NOT think dinosaurs are cool?! (second coolest if you include ninja’s, but they aren’t extinct so it doesn’t count)
As the squirrel stared in awe at the massive structures of bones towering over him, the wall behind him blew up, sending debris everywhere. Alex coughed from the dust before spotting the cause of the explosion. Robot Ninja’s. As they spread throughout the exhibits, his mom and dad’s words echoed in his head for what to do if he was ever caught in a situation like this.
Duck and cover. Don’t make a sound. Don’t be see-
“LIFEFORM DETECTED. ENITIATE ATTACK PROTOCAL”
Nope, too late for that last part. Alex looked up... and paled as he saw two of the RoboNinja’s approaching him with their swords drawn. “st-stay back! get away from me!” Alex yells as he backed away, trying to put some distance between him and the robots. They continued approaching him as he backed up... until he hit the wall. he peeked back to confirm his fear before glancing to his sides, hoping for another way out. Nothing. looking back, one of the robots had raised their swords, ready to strike. (This is it, I’m gonna die...) Alex covered his head and closed his eyes, waiting for the end... but was shaken out of it at the sound of clashing metal. He peeked from his arms to see what happened.
It was none other than the Green Ninja standing in front of him, Nun chucks being used as a makeshift shield against a pair of swords. Alex could only stare in awe as the trio were in a stand-off, trying to throw the other off-balance. He glanced to his left to see the Blue Ninja carving her way through another group of robots almost effortlessly.
Green grunted bringing Alex’s attention back to him “Stay... away... from HIM!” he yelled as he swung his weapon effectively dislodging both swords before bringing his nun chucks down on their heads, HARD. They collapse on the floor lifeless in front of him. He sigh in relief before turning to the young boy “are you alright? they didn’t hurt you anywhere?”
Alex didn’t hear anything except for the ringing in his ears. He had too many thoughts going through his head. He was cornered by robots. He got to witness a ninja fight first-hand. He could have died... He was saved the Green Ninja himself. “-KID!”
He was brought out his mind to see both green and blue surrounding him, concern on their faces. “ye-yeah?” Alex stuttered, embarrassed that he zoned out like that. Green sighs in relief at the reply “alright, we can’t stay here so we need to move” He turns to face Blue. “I’m going to take him back to his class, you find and help the others. I’ll catch up once this little guy is safe, you ok with that?” he asks. Blue nods before signing something “alright, stay safe and be on guard” Green nods back “I will, and the same to you”
Blue gives a thumbs up before making her way out the wrecked room. Green sighs before turning to Alex “well, kid. ready to go back?” he questions as he holds out his hand for him. Alex smiles, taking his hand as they made their own way out and back to the main hallway.
Alex stayed silent the trip back, and he was in BIG trouble when they arrived to the rest of his class. But he was sure of one thing...
He had a new hero. And it was none other than the Green Ninja himself.
