A mini life update as requested ;)

Hello people of tumblr!  It’s been a while!

Since you guys really enjoyed my life stories (actually more like one or two people lol), I thought I would give you updates. yaaaay for updates? no..ok.

I think the last update regarding temple guy was him getting married but that wasn’t it.

We still kept in touch and before you guys get any idea, it was VERY formal like greeting each other on festivals and that’s it. But during Diwali, he texted me saying, “Happy Diwali” and I just thought, oh this is just formal greeting so I greeted him as well. and then all of sudden he was like, “Are you ok?” and I am just sitting here thinking why the heck is he asking me this. And nothing was wrong with me tbh I didn’t know why he was asking me that. Then out of nowhere, he is like, “ I wanted to tell you something but that’s ok I will tell you some other time.”  I hate it when anybody does this to me. They make me curious and then goes to the point of not telling me. So I told him that he has to tell me now. After a while, he agreed saying that whatever he is about to say, I shouldn’t laugh. And then he dropped the bomb.

“I liked you when I was a bachelor. I had a major crush on you for 2 years”

I  LITERALLY SAT THERE FOR 5 MINUTES STARING AT MY PHONE. THIS WHAT ALL OF US WANTED. THIS IS WHAT I WISHED FOR EVERY SUNDAY. Too bad I was over him and he was married lol

So I told him that I had feelings for him too at one point. And he was in shock lmao he literally couldn’t believe it. HE TOLD ME EVERYTHING. He came to Garba because of me. He sat in his car for few minutes after worship so he can see one last time until next sunday came. He even kept my picture of me in his phone for 2 years omg. Remember that one time after garba was over and his friend and him came over to where my friend and I were sitting? and we introduced ourselves formally. But he literally talked for 2 mins and he was gone. So I asked him why he ran away when I was trying to talk to him? and he is like, “I thought you were trying to set me up with your friend but I liked YOU so I ran away lol” And he also told me that his friend could totally see we liked each other but he kept thinking it was only one sided so he never said anything. I literally facepalmed throughout this whole convo. He was like, I was such an idiot that I never said anything. He even offered a ride in his oh-so-fancy car and this was when we started talking waaaay back and then everything died lol. He was like if you had come, I would have totally confessed my feelings. AND I AM LIKE HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW? I thought you were just being friendly since you bought a new car!! And then I remember he asked me about crushes and all but  this was totally my mistake back then because I was so stupid. He was trying to give me hints but I was too blind to see any of it. And he always always used to wait in his car, now that I remember correctly. AND OMG  HIS “ACCIDENTAL” WHATSAPP CALLS.  He told me that he would call me to talk to me and then he would chicken out xD” So I told him, I was not THAT intimidating and he was like you were not intimidating, it’s just that I thought you would not be into punjabi guys and I didn’t want to lose any connection I had with you.” I DIED LAUGHING OMG HE THOUGHT I WAS NOT INTO PUNJABI GUYS xD Oh then there was this another one he said, I laughed so hard omg. So he told me he used to sit in his car and wait for to get a glimpse of me right?

I told him that he always used to be on the phone whenever I saw him in the car and I  thought he was a busy guy. and he was like,”Of course I had to look busy, warna tumhare papa kya sochte? Ki yeh meri beti ko ghur raha hai? XD”

In the end, he was like, “We missed this big time but oh well it was not meant to be. But next time if you like somebody, let them know!!” Uhh, how do I get guts to tell them that I like them? I am scared of rejection! It’s not that easy D:

But I am glad, everything was out you know our feelings and all because I feel like both of us would have just kept thinking about ifs and buts. We ended up talking for almost 2 hours but it was very friendly type of talk. It looked like he just wanted to get this off his chest and move on and throughout the convo, I never felt like he was trying to you know flirt or anything like that which is good! oh and in this whole thing, I forgot to mention that he has moved to another province couple of months back lol
