Her character within this verse has been called away back to Gotham due to an emergency and will not return during the summer. However, come Fall her character will come back into the storyline.

Caroline is a semi-hiatus until Fall...
Her character within this verse has been called away back to Gotham due to an emergency and will not return during the summer. However, come Fall her character will come back into the storyline.
This verse holds true to the origin stories laid out in the novels and falls into the show storyline (with some exceptions/alterations) before departing post season four (though it does ignore most of the canon of season four) and picking up five years later.This verse will include some of the elements/plots of the first series of novels. Also please note that this is an active and large verse and therefore if characters fall inactive for more then a week without giving a hiatus notice the character will be reopened. We understand that people get busy but just let us know you need a hiatus.
It's now five years post season four and everyone is returning to Mystic Falls, some starting their lives post college, others like Madeline and Caroline returning for the summer from Gotham University, and others from various places. As things have finally appeared to settle in their lives trouble seems to be brewing on the horizon as strange things begin to happen in town, animals acting up and people acting strange. However what no one knows is that there are two kitsune's at play, Misao and Shinichi whom seek to wreak havoc and destroy the town.

Tatia’s daughter was Elizabeth Morrow, whom would later die and become a Guardian, her becoming the mother of Elena, Maggie, Jeremy, and Elena after her defection from the Celestial Court. Thus making Katherine and Elena part of Tatia’s bloodline and not doppelgangers. (Elena was not adopted in this verse.)
The Salvatore's are about 500 and from Florence, Italy like in the novels, and Katherine was turned into a vampire by Klaus whom influenced her greatly over the years.
Elena was never sired to Damon and she never turned off her humanity. Caroline and Elena's friendship, in the past, was much closer to that of the books, Caroline's story arc following her story as laid out in the books until she was humiliated at the Founder's Event, after this event, her storyline falls into line with the show a bit more post her dating Matt, her eventually becoming closer with Elena and the others. Caroline was never turned into a vampire, rather she was bitten by Tyler during a full moon and eventually turned into a hybrid by Klaus.
The story of the Originals has replaced the unknown origins of the Old Ones in the novels and thus Klaus is a bit more twisted then in the show. However, Katherine was never in danger by Klaus as her bloodline was no revealed until Klaus went after Elena. So in this respect the storyline again diverges.
The Dark Dimension/City of Darkness is the 'Other Side' and the Guardian's exist. Silas was a kitsune and the kitsune race is still in existence.
Katherine was killed by Elena (season 4), Elena dying in the process. Elena was resurrected and Katherine was resurrected by the Guardians during Elena's first year of college. They are now on fairly good terms with each other and have accepted that they are half-sisters.
Maggie Gilbert exists, Jeremy and Kol never died. And unlike in the books, Klaus is still alive.
Elena and Katherine's blood is toxic to all Old Ones/Originals, given that they have both died which had triggered their Guardian halves.
After season four, everyone graduated high school. Caroline Forbes and Madeline Salvatore (Zach's daughter) traveled Europe for three years before moving to Gotham City (so the world of DC Comics is incorporated to the canon in this verse) and starting college at Gotham University (part of their Gotham's Calling verse which takes place two years before this verse and parallels it to a degree, see link here for that verse's info), while the others attended university at Delcrest.
For the last few years Damon and Katherine have been road tripping, though as they have returned Katherine is experiencing a pull toward Klaus.
The Originals had moved to New Orleans for the last five years however they, or at least some of them, have returned to Mystic Falls. There are no Klaus' babies as of this time as Hayley does not exist.
Meredith and Alaric (Alaric follows the book origins) married six months ago and Meredith has an internship at her father's law offices.
Bonnie is studying Art and living with Zander.

Katherine had been rummaging through the seemingly endless amount of luggage and packages that currently littered Damon's room from their European exploits when she let out a frustrated huff. "It's not here.. it's not here. Did you.. forget to take the last bag from the hotel before we left for the airport?" She called toward the bathroom knowing he would hear her before promptly throwing a rolled up sock at Damon's head when he came out. "That was one of my gifts for Elena." She pouted.
Sorry I haven't really been that active on here and Caroline over the last week and a half. I can be slow with replies and I'm sorry for that. I do plan to be more active this week and really hope to get this verse moving. :D Thanks for understanding.
Quick Reference #5: Guardian (Angel) Powers
As a human returned from the afterlife, Elena and Katherine (in the novel canon only Elena, in this verse it's both of them) were given special abilities that power their aura. All supernatural beings can see it. Their powers have made their blood irresistible to vampires and other supernatural creatures. It can be noted that Elena is better at using her abilities then Katherine. Elena is the example in the ability description.
Superhuman Senses: Elena have learned to control her senses of hearing, vision, and smell at her own will.
Telepathy: Elena can communicate with Stefan, Damon and Bonnie non verbally, using her mental senses.
Wings of Power: Elena has several different wings, all powers given to her from the afterlife. These are her different kinds of wings:
Wings Of Protection are strong and, like the name, very useful for Elena to protect herself and whoever is there with her.
Wings Of Purification are white in colouring and can remove all sins of a person and their memories
Wings Of Remembrance are violet-blue in color and can return someone's memories.
Wings Of Redemption are rainbow-colored and can redeem people of their sins.
Wings Of The Wind which are gold in color, were used to create wind and these wings helped her to fly.
Wings Of Destruction are used to destroy things which are obstacles or are possible dangers.
Time Manipulation: Elena, like other guardians, can go back in time, causing the resurrection of the dead, memory loss, and physical restoration of the damage.
Sacred Blood: Elena's blood is the ultimate weapon to destroy all the evil creatures of the universe. It's the only thing that can destroy the Old Ones, and prevent their resurrection.

Weather Control: The supernatural ability allows influence meteorological energy patterns, creating rain, wind, hail, lightning, snow, sleet, fog and temperature changes. Katherine had a very strong ability to control the weather, being able to cause dangerous storms with ease.
Elemental Manipulation: The supernatural ability to control and manipulate the elements of air, earth, fire, water, lightning, etc.
Animal Control: The supernatural ability can handle all kinds of wild animals or domestic. Normally you can only control a species at a time.
Healing: The supernatural ability to heal all infections and injuries at an accelerated speed.

Senses: The supernatural ability to hear, see, smell, and taste beyond the human limit.
Shapeshifting: The supernatural ability to alter and change the physical form of ones self. Katherine has been known to shift into a cat and tiger, Damon a crow and wolf, etc.
Speed: The supernatural ability to jump, move and run at superhuman velocity.
Strength: The supernatural ability of abnormal strength.
Illusion: It is capable of disrupting the reality of one or more things at once. The Illusion is limited, since it uses a short time but because the neutralization of the enemy and does not usually give orders to the victims.
Telepathy: The supernatural ability can communicate mentally with other vampires without physical contact and long distances.
Immunity - Immune to human diseases and toxins. She does not grow old.
Resurrection: The supernatural ability to return from the dead. In order to return, an Old One needs the blood of their descendants. In case the body was destroyed, it is possible that the essence of the Old One occupies one of his/her descendant's body.
Weaknesses
The older the vampire, they become more affected by weaknesses than the majority of vampires.
Uninvited: A vampire cannot enter a home that have not been invited inside of.
Running water: A vampire can not cross above running water but can tunnel beneath it.
Veil Matter(Ghost): A vampire can not hurt and defeat a ghost. But ghosts can manifest and send a vampire to a place where you can not do more damage.
Wood: Like all vampires, wood is harmful to a vampire and a wooden object through the heart is fatal, unless you are an Old One in which case the only way to kill them is to use a white ash stake or if they drink the blood of a part guardian such as Elena or Katherine.
Beheading: Beheading is lethal to a vampire.
Fire: Fire is lethal to most vampires.
Sunlight: The sun burns most vampires on contact and can even kill a vampire, unless they are wearing a spelled ring.
Sub-Verse #2:
French Revolution, Paris, 1793:
It's 1793, the height of the French Revolution and Katherine, having been corrupted by her maker, Klaus has parted ways with him for a few years, her on a ripping spree across France. However, a chance meeting between her and her old love Elijah begins Katherine on journey of intervention as he attempts to force her to turn her humanity back on before Klaus can get his hooks back into her. However, by 1794, when he finally does manage to get through to her and feelings pop through the surface, Klaus finds them and compels Katherine to kill causing her to fall back into her ripper ways. This verse takes place in 1793, when Katherine was a ripper.

Gotham Calling:
This verse is placed two years before our main verse. Over a year after finally being released from her sire bond to Klaus and deciding not to go to Delcrest with the others, Caroline decided to travel around Europe with Madeline Salvatore for three years before both moved to Gotham to visit with Caroline’s grandfather Alfred, then moving into a cottage on the Wayne property. Soon, extending their stay by deciding to enroll in Gotham University and meeting Dick Grayson otherwise known as Robin or Nightwing whom also resides at the manor, it won’t be long before these young women discover the secrets within. But what will happen when Caroline begins to use her own abilities to fight crime? Will Caroline become Batgirl? And what will become of Madeline?
