To an Old One dimensional travel was not a foreign concept. Klaus himself had visited the Dark Dimension becoming friends with the Devil. Many of his siblings-- who had already perished at the hands of hunters and Guardians-- existed in the Netherworld, Shadow Souls in the City of Darkness.. there was no shortage of realms of which existed beyond the reach of mere mortals– not that a Demon Gate couldn’t be used if one knew how to find it, of course. However, this was something very different indeed. When two congruent Nexus Vorti-- one in the universe of the novels, and one in the universe of the show-- created a rift in New Orleans, a gateway was opened, allowing those from two worlds to cross between them. 

                       What will happen next is yet unknown.

     “Ég skil ekki kerfið.” Celine stated, picking up the laptop and throwing it across the room in frustration. Perhaps it was her own fault since she’d spent the last century ‘playing Goddess on some backwater island’ as her brother had so eloquently put it. 

     With a sigh, she moves to look at his machine, peering over his shoulder because even if it confuses her, her curiosity will always win out. “Stóri bróðir, sýna mér hvernig á að vinna þetta.” Celine asks, though it’s more of a statement accompanied with pouting sad eyes.

     “I need you to tell me there’s some way to bring him back. There has to be something we can do.” Meredith had always been the calm one, the rational one, yet in this moment denial was overwhelming nearly all her newfound senses. A hybrid she had been forced to become with her brother’s death and Finn’s ‘killing’ of her. 

     No, Cristian couldn’t be dead. Meredith had only just got him back a few years before. How could the universe, how could Esther be so cruel as to take her brother from her again and curse her to live a hybrid in the process?

"Oh, Klaus. Look at the fire—" Firework, she wanted to say, but didn't get the chance as he pulled her into a kiss. She had never received a New Year's Eve kiss until now...and it was amazing. Bonnie cupped his cheek, kissing him gently back before breaking the kiss to breath. As she looked into his soft blue eyes, she smiled genuinely and whispered, "Happy New Year, Klaus."

♜: Shoulder rubs

It had been a hard day at work with all the kids. Sometimes being an elementary school teacher was really exhausting. All she wanted is to lay down on the couch and watch TV, preferably with Klaus. As if on cue he was sitting on the couch when she walked inside. Smiling at him, she approached the original while taking off her jacket, throwing it on the edge of the couch. Sitting beside him, she wrapped one arm around him, sighing in content.

"I'm so exhausted today. Little kids can be tiring. And my shoulders hurt too. One of them threw a ball at my back. Can you imagine?" Some parents had to teach their kids how to behave, for real. A soft chuckle escaped Klaus' lips and he offered her to rub her shoulders. Instantly Bonnie beamed, nodding her head.

Turning her back to him, she let him massage her. She closed her eyes, relaxing to the soothing circles of his hands around her back. He was doing it so well that caused her a soft sigh to roll from her lips. She was feeling much better now, lighter. He ceased with his movements just as she lost her balance, falling backwards onto his lap. She had her eyes still closed and was dozing off. Little did she know that a familiar hand was stroking her cheek gently as he watched her fall asleep.

♕: Holding hands

Bonnie couldn't believe it. Here she was sitting in restaurant at a table and he...was actually holding her hand underneath the table. At first it had been a shock to her senses and she had looked at him in amazement, her eyes questioning if he really meant what he was doing. She didn't receive a reply, instead a nod and a sly smile. Once she realized, they were really holding hands, Bonnie blushed crimson and gently squeezed his hand back. And there it was. Such kind of moments proved to her that as much as he was known as monster, he was a monster with heart—at least that's what she could conclude from his actions towards her.

Bonnie was half asleep, lying in her bed. She had wanted to stay awake for Klaus, but he quickly clarified that he would come late to bed or not at all. She shouldn't be waiting for him.

At first she didn't notice the other's body climbing into the bed and slipping underneath the covers, until she was met with a soft pair of lips that kissed her. Bonnie's eyes shot up, looking surprised at the original vampire. Her shock faded quickly as she began to return his kiss, gently cupping his face between her small hands. After a moment she pulled away, smiling genuinely happy at the blond male. "For a moment I thought you wouldn't come to bed, my lord. But you did not disappoint me. I'm glad you came." She whispered softly before she wrapped her arms around him, snuggling into his chest. She would sleep much better now. It was warmer too.

It took her by surprise. She hadn't expected him to greet her by kissing her, but, oh, she was a willing victim of his. Going on tip toes, she wrapped her arms around his neck to pull him closer to her. She returned his kiss without a second thought, it seemed as if it was her instinct to naturally respond to him, physically and emotionally. She was starting to lose herself in the gentle kiss. It was so soft, she was afraid her legs would fail her. Nevertheless, she knew he would catch her, if she fell. Bonnie had to admit that she could get used to this kind of treatment, she was already too deep into this anyway, whatever it was what they had. She wanted to call it love, but was afraid to voice out her thought, not wanting to upset him with her 'silly thoughts', as he would say. Therefore she stayed silent and swayed instead.
