I remember when nsider went down in 2007. with no warning, the admins put the forum in read-only mode, and announced that they would stay visible for one week. at the end of the week, it was gone. we couldn't even message people to coordinate other places to stay in contact. we lost so many things, so many connections

I don't want that to happen to communities here. don't stay in denial until it's too late. we probably have at least a few months, but start preparing now. make sure that everything from your blog, everything from other blogs you care about, every person you want to keep track of, are all available elsewhere

please forgive the weirdness of this question but by any chance did you used to post on nsider2 specifically the fire emblem board and/or serenes-forest. if you don't wanna answer this or whatever that's fine i just see your username occasionally and i remember someone using that name (ik it's the name of a FE character) but. well. actually whatever **turns around and walks away and is never seen again**
