Just got an email from NSLSC about the November payments going ahead. Per the email, despite the lockdowns in Peel and Toronto loan repayments won’t be paused, so you will get billed for this month and so forth.

If anyone got laid off, don’t forget to apply for RAP or defer payments so you won’t get penalized for missing one for non-sufficient funds.

Please share this so your followers from Ontario know, especially if they missed their email from NSLSC.

After spending nearly an hour on the phone with two different people I got into my account finally only to find that I can't apply for repayment assistance again because I somehow missed my modified payments during this period of RAP.

My modified payments were $0. How the FUCK does someone miss a payment of ZERO DOLLARS

Love that they've suspended interest on student loans but uhhh.... I can't afford ANY payments with or without interest, my repayment assistance period just ended, and the website crashes every time I go to try to apply again and this has been the case for at least a week which is when I started trying to get in, based on the message on the website everyone has been having this issue for a while now.

This is bullshit. Just cancel the payments altogether at this point if you can't even fix your dammed website.

The NSLSC site SUCKS in terms of looking at my loan payments and stuff, but when I FINALLY found the page that details my loan repayment info I did the math and the plan they automatically put me on is 114 months and when I did the math, 9 AND A HALF YEARS TO PAY OF THE STUDENT DEBT WHAT THE F U C K
