I am editing some Spock and McCoy banter for my next chapter that turns into a real moment and ugh.

I just love them both so much.

And then Search For Spock happens and they genuinely have no choice but to live together and admit that is totally possible.

That they are that close that Spock could manage to do that with his Katra via McCoy just as well as he could Jim

And they STILL have the audacity to act like they don't give a shit about each other.

ik there are very few canadians and ontarians that follow me here but i just wanted to say that at a protest i attended today (against our premier decreasing the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) grants significantly) there was a disgusting and unacceptable amount of police violence. a woman was literally hit on the head with a skateboard. she was in the way of police officers dragging a man across a crowd for spraypainting

me and my friends were pushed around like crazy by a bunch of police, literally elbowed in the gut multiple times.

im so disappointed in my government and fuck the police!!!!!!!

For everyone in Ontario, Doug Ford is changing for OSAP, a program that provides grants and loans for people pursuing post secondary education. He's changing it so that there are more loans than grants (meaning most of the money that they get will have to be paid back), which will directly affect disabled and low income people in Ontario.

However, there is a petition that any Canadian citizen can sign, which I will link. Please sign it if you are able, and if not, please boost this post.

I know that this is a long shot, and I doubt that this will solely change things, but I want to try

im the too woke friend and i think doug ford saying students shouldnt take “basket weaving classes” is racist. he is straight up saying he doesnt believe in indigenous art forms and the implications arent hard to understand. many unis and colleges here do have indigenous art classes including an actual basket weaving course. whatever.

Cheat Sheet: Your Guide to Understanding the Changes to OSAP

Students will be eligible to receive a maximum of 25% of their OSAP funding as grants, down from 85%.

Students will be eligible to receive a minimum of 75% of their OSAP funding as loans, up from 15%. This represents a 400% increase in loans.

Students at private career colleges will no longer be eligible for grants at all.

Low-income students will have additional costs absorbed through an enhanced Student Access Guarantee, but the government hasn't explained how that will work.

In addition, publicly funded colleges and universities will also be permitted to raise tuition fees by up to 2% for 3 years, and then by 2% or the 3-year average rate of inflation (whichever is less) after that. The current 3-year average rate of inflation is 2.8%, so don't expect that 2% increase to be going anywhere any time soon.

If OSAP existed it would be here. Ironically this is also where Shining Moon Tokyo was held until it closed due to COVID in 2020.

Here is the 90s OSAP. It looks completely different. I'm not sure which building it was modeled off of. The 90s anime made a lot of scenery chances compared to Crystal.
