All We Do - Oh Wonder Cover

Okay, I’m sharing this, despite my extreme nerves about it.

My beloved friend @ntbogoni shared this song with me, and I decided to learn to play it for her.

Please keep in mind that I am entirely self taught (both piano and vocals) and do not have proper recording equipment. Everything was recorded on my phone in my living room (it is super hard to sing loud enough to be heard over the piano without a microphone, btw).

That being said, I’m proud enough of it to dump it here and scurry of to work now, kthxbye!

Hey there, don’t worry, it’s not dumb at all, and thank you for the interest :)

So, the honest answer:

I downloaded lots of mods before playing DA2 for the first time. One mod added lots of tattoos to the CC. I kind of ignored the fact that some of them looked like Vallaslin. I saw this one, loved it, said “Hey she can have a tattoo on her face right” and started to play. Only wondered what was wrong when I saw Merrill for the first time.

The headcanon I made up because of my dumbness:

Marlow has elvish ancestors so her family was always close with the Dalish Clan that lived nearby. She spent a lot of time with the local Elves and made some wonderful friends there. When her best friend got her Vallaslin, she insisted that Marlow got one too.

I actually don’t think that Dalish Elves would give a human a Vallaslin, no matter how close they’re with the clan, so I’ve been thinking about removing it. Maybe I’ll do that for my next playthrough.
