who are we? we (@/blessyoulester, @/chishyyaps, @/TUNEOFY0URDEATH on twitter) are the moderators. pls feel free to reply/DM us or send a message to [email protected] :)

what is a "video zine"? a credit-card-shaped USB drive with fan videos and their director commentary tracks!

why usb drive? why not just watch edits online?? it's fun to hold art in your hands! videos in the drive will be HD, and if a video contributor decides to make a commentary track for their video, then the commentary track will be a USB-exclusive!!

what is a video contributor? creator of a video (AMV/edit, parody, etc) about NTBTS! each VC can submit up to 4min of video (one/multiple 30s edits, one 2min edit w a commentary track, etc)

what is a graphic design contributor? creator of the design on the card-shaped USB drive

how long will applications be open? 2 weeks (it will close on july 15). the application will ask you to submit rough draft or idea and proof-of-permission to use any art not created by you or the NTB crew. final HD submissions will occur after acceptance (july 22)

all time-based works are accepted. this includes edits/AMVs, live-action parodies, animations, and more! click "keep reading" for the qr codes to the applications (or see the linktree) and other FAQs...

Q: how rough can my draft be?

A: all we ask for at this stage are three things:

a text description of ur final draft (for example: "amv to SONG by ARTIST", "my friend and i as matt and jay, but we're running through the streets of san francisco", "animation inspired by ntbts where XYZ", "usb drive cover where matt and jay are watching a movie"),

a file upload (can be a slideshow of the scenes you want to use, can be an edit where the last quarter/third/half/etc is left blank, a sketch of ur graphic design alongside a finished past project so we know your art style), and

a pinky promise that you'll be able to deliver a final draft by august 5!

Q: what other video submissions are valid?

A: any time-based media! this includes classic edits/AMVs, live-action videos, animated videos, scene recreations, dramatic readings of your fanfiction, and more! all we ask is that if you're using any art that's not made by you or the NTB crew, that you provide proof that you have permissions to use that art :)

what? this is the nirvanna the band the show THE VIDEO ZINE, a chance to collect many time-based media (fan edits, AMVs, live action parodies, animated videos inspired by the show, etc) and put it on a credit-card-shaped usb drive. we are currently accepting rough draft submissions for the videos themselves AND the design printed on every usb drive!
