I love seeing your comments on himym lol. Even with all its flaws it's definitely one of my favorite sitcoms, the idea that the universe has a plan for all of us (a butterfly flaps its wings and it starts to rain like ted says lol) and that everything happens for a reason. The last season is not the best and the ending made me cry so much because I hated it lol (also don't watch the extended ver. of that lmaoo) so I choose to ignore it ::)) but I feel like the rest of the show is so worth it (last season has its good moments ok im not gonna be that mean lol). Oh also I wanna choke ted (and barney although I love him also makes me wanna choke him sometimes), icb the only valid man is marshall
Haha glad you enjoy my rants! I really like the show too, although there definitely are things that make me cringe while watching it :’) But I do love its format and how great they are at keeping a real timeline throughout the whole show with all the flashbacks and flashforwards and callbacks and stuff. It’s a nice change from all these shows that can’t keep a straight timeline throughout all the seasons haha. I do think I’m not enjoying it as much as I could have because I started it for Barney and Robin and all the great things I read about them and they “disappointed” me a bit in the sense that I thought they’d have a story a lot more developed than they're getting lol but this is definitely my own fault for having such expectations. Also yes I love Barney but I also really can’t stand him sometimes like he can be such a jerk it’s terrible. As for Ted his obsession with Robin became too much for me, I’m glad I’m getting closer to him meeting the mother because I really didn’t like how once again he complained that Barney and Robin were getting engaged when just a few episodes ago he finally moved on from her and she explicitly told him that she did not love him like that (even though I know they’re endgame, which is another thing that bothers me for several reasons, but well I’m waiting to see the finale with my own eyes to really judge that haha)... So yes I definitely agree for Marshall ashsksks. He and Lily are amazing together I adore them!!! But anyway this show has proved to be a really nice distraction and escape from the world at a time I really need it so I don’t regret watching it and I’m sure I’m gonna miss it a lot when I’m done either tomorrow or in 2 days :)
