Queen's episode subtly revealing how X gets his power:
In Queen's Valedictorian Speech she says:
"In this world, from the moment we are born, we live in order to become someone in the eyes of others. Trust comes from others, but above that, it comes from within."
she goes on in her speech to explain that it was was her own belief in her abilities to become a hero that let her graduate in 2 years.
She also proclaims in her speech that the Hero Commission is failing to protect the people and regulate heroes, the duty it was created to do post-dawnfall incident (Zero vs E-Soul). Queen says that she will be the one to bring order instead of the commission, and states that she will do away with the corrupt Trust system
later on in the episode, CEO Micky makes a hole in one and boasts:
"Sometimes, in order to achieve something, your determination has to be stronger than your skill."
Throughout the entire episode, emphasis is placed in becoming a hero due to your own sense of self worth, rather than due to how others perceive you
I believe X takes Queen's perspectives to the extreme, and became a hero through his own sense of self worth, and he himself plans to take down the whole system of "heroes" and Trust
