• like i said earlier, he finds your hands warm and comforting so he feels at ease whenever he holds your hand

• definitely the type to think back on it before giggling to himself (he's so cute help)

Filming doesn't stop, even when the temperature has dipped below 0 and the midnight wind bites across your face. You're observing the extras that surround your boyfriend, creating the perfect scene for the camera to capture. Everyone is eager to get it done quickly and warm up again, and you are hyper-aware of how bitter the cold wind is blowing in Minhyun's direction.
You hold his jacket in your hands, ready to throw it over him as soon as the director calls cut. You're not part of the filming staff, but you might as well have been hired at this point. You've come to the filming locations to support Minhyun every day you didn't have work, sometimes sticking around for full days. But you never liked the idea of just sitting there doing nothing, so you quickly learned all the ways you could make yourself useful.
Looking after your boyfriend's comfort was, of course, your number 1 priority, but you also spread your services to the rest of the crew. Making coffee and tea for the cast, bring snacks from the canteen and occasionally running errands for the director to speed up the filming; you're up for almost anything. Anyone on set would say that you are a vital part of the team. Filming never goes as smoothly as it does when you're there.
You're grateful for all of it, especially when it means you don't have to shy away from him in between cuts. Hiding your relationship with him is never easy for either of you. One less place to have to put on the mask of indifference is a welcome change. Plus, he has a habit of sparing you longing glances whenever you're near but not near enough and it always makes you want to break. They're subtle to everyone else, nothing but a quick look in your direction. But you see past it. You see the weight behind his eyes, all the I love you's that he wished he could utter, all the vulnerability flashing through his gaze.
To him, you're like the sun. An energy source so powerful it could charge him for days. You have the ability to vanish his tiredness, fill him with a motivation and vigor so strong it could last for weeks.
But you're also the moon—calm and reliable. You make all his sorrow go away like the push and pull of the tides. You make him feel safe enough to rest.
He knows you will always be his biggest support system. You're invaluable. You allow him to shine his brightest, like the best star in the sky. You are his entire world.
No sooner has the director called cut than you are running over to Minhyun and shrugging the coat back on him. You step aside together, away from the rest of the cast that are also grabbing their heat packs and layers. It's a little privacy, enough to check in without distraction.
His ears are bright red, protesting the cold weather. You stand on your tiptoes and cup them with your warm hands. It makes him shiver and pull you closer. You sneak a heat pack into his pocket, a welcome source of warmth to bite through the chill.
"Last scene, hm? Then we can go home," you remind him eagerly, knowing he needs the motivation to get it done quickly. You can see the tiredness in his eyes, and his stamina waning at having to film long scenes in the middle of winter. It's brutal at times, but it could never change his passion for it.
"It'll be done soon," he echoes, more to himself than to you. He wants nothing more than to take a hot shower and wrap himself up in blankets with you close to his chest. He always sleeps like a baby after long filming days, as if he's shutting off the entire world. In his own little bubble—one that only has space for you.
"Warm me up more," he begs, removing your hands from his face and lacing your fingers together. He dips your joined hands into his pockets, away from the cold, brushing against the warmth of the heat pack.
"Lean down a bit—can't reach," you urge, vaguely annoyed at how much taller he stands over you. Things would be a lot easier if he lost a few inches to his height, but then he wouldn't be quite the same, and you hated that thought, because he's already perfect as he is. You wouldn't trade his inconveniently long limbs for anything, even if it meant daily struggle for you. He does as you ask, leaning down until you're only a breath apart.
You can see your breath hit his lips when you exhale, soon to be swallowed up with your own. The wind musses through your hair, but the cold can't infiltrate to Minhyun anymore. You're like a human shield, blocking him from the worst of it. He's ever grateful for your efforts, as you can easily tell by how desperately he kisses you; like you're the only thing that keeps him going.
Your mouth is warm, tongue sliding against his as he gasps softly. You know there isn't much time before the director calls for the next scene, so you try to make it count. Your fingers brush against his, still tucked away in the pocket of his coat. Your warmth seeps through to him as much as possible, because you can always warm up more after this, but soon he'll have to separate from you again, shed his coat, and bear the icy chill against his face.
His heart almost aches when he hears the director call out again, ready for the next scene. But he knows its his job—even if it is three in the morning, even if it is an ungodly temperature, even if it means he has to stop kissing you. So, he gives you one last peck before slipping his coat off, heat pack still in the pocket, and joining the rest of the cast. Only one last scene before he can go home and enjoy your warmth once more.
