Meet Ryanne, she is, or maybe I should say “was” a real nuclear engineer. Now she makes soaps for a living and loves it! She and her mom own Dogwood Blossom Gifts and Absolute Gallery is pleased to offer this new line of soaps for your bathing pleasure. Dogwood Blossom Gifts was founded in 2016 with a creative streak and a dream. We are a mother-daughter team that hand-makes artisan bath and body products including soap, bath fizzies, shower fizzies, cream soap sugar scrubs, lip balms, facial scrubs, creams, soap dishes, wash clothes, and lotions. We are both engineers by training, but like to say that we are soapmakers by passion! Located in Alexandria, Virginia, we enjoy attending farmers markets and artisan events throughout the Washington, DC area. Our bath and body products are crafted in small batches with high quality ingredients and care. We have a passion for the art, the scents, the health benefits, and the pure enjoyment of our handmade work – and hope you will too! Our artisan soaps are made using typical household staples: olive oil, coconut oil, and other vegetable oils, as well as some oils that are less common for cooking, but have great properties for skincare like castor oil, meadowfoam seed oil, palm oil, and sweet almond oil. We also use butters in every bar of soap, including shea butter, cocoa butter, and mango butter.
