Spooktober monsters, Oct. 1st The Nukalavee Orcadian origins The Nukalavee is a demon of the night, and water. Witnesses claim the beast had the body of a horse with the torso of a man merged into it’s back. Both the horse, and “it’s rider” have had their skin stripped from them, leaving only the sinew, muscles, and bones. Both the horses normal eyes, as well as the torso’s are missing, but in the center of the horses skull rests a fifth eye socket, filled with a bloodshot gazing eye it uses to hunt down prey. The torso’s arms are slender, and dangle almost all the way to the ground. The long, thin limbs end in large hands, with equally proportioned fingers tipped with sharp claws.
