The rest of the family moves into a smaller house, while Luke stays with his younger sister Faith and her family to look after her ailing health. The new tenants happen to be Luke's good friends Maddie and Casey; however, they are also friends with Noah, whom they invite over often. Luke must now face Noah years after he rejected him, seeing him date other people and feeling regret over his decision.
