in the control au, how do you think starclan would deal with cloudtail and/or mothwing? its def interesting as they're the two that outright disbelieve in starclan (at least for most of the series), would they even be able to control them or would they not have the power to "reach" them?
i’ve always been a huge fan of the “starclan can’t reach them” take and i use it in other aus, but i think in this starclan would be able to control them (perhaps less-so than others, though?)
i think mothwing would go to the moonpool and starclan would take over her there. she’d be quite resistant, but controllable. she would continue to teach willowshine, but now can also train her in the ways of starclan. an interesting turn of events would be her no longer being able to teach her about herbs.... it depends on how starclan’s control works (is it one cat? is it just starclan/”the stars” as a whole? is a “force” that makes the cat fully believe in starclan, but have a weaker understanding in much else? much to think about lol)
as for cloudtail, he denies starclan from a very young age, so i think it would be interesting to see him controlled since then. he’d be the clan outsider, the one who only seems to speak of the stars. slowly over the years, he seems to go a little mad. sometimes he even calls out in pain during the night, like he’s fighting something as he sleeps. is real cloudtail still in there, after all these years?
