Six have the MOST changes out of all gijinkas I made so far.. I made her design revolve into her rapper & DJ theme because she's cool and awesome like that. And she's by far the most detailed design I’ve ever made!
To be honest, I struggled with her design the most.. especially on where to add the colors… I might have added more black than purple & and vivid red than dull red, so you might mistake her for an oc..
Back to the explanation, she has bubble braids since they resemble the dots on a dice. Also added six motives in her overall design, including her body shape, baby hair (the hair on her face), and a beanie.
Seven 🌈
Seven is the hardest to conceptualize, since his character description only includes him being a “happy-go-lucky” kind of guy..
His yellow glasses came from his canon counterpart, although he would be too lucky to have bad eyesight, I still added it so he would be recognizable. Also if you're Filipino, you might have recognized his hairstyle, because I did take inspo from Popo. (I’M FRYING IS THAT HIS ACTUAL NAME..) And added his number on his belt and his eye as his buckle.
The swirl design and the four-leaf clover pin is an inspo from Irish culture. Since he has a Welsh accent, I also want to incorporate the motives into the design but never made it into the final design :<
Eight 🐙
Since he has a j*b /ref, I find it easy to find inspiration for his hero outfit.
I made Eight have dreadlocks since it resembles the limbs of the octopus and because it's fun to draw! The “octo” elements were added in his outfit; his shoulder pads, elbow pads, knee pads, and logo. Also added knuckle spikes since it resembles his mask.
If it weren't for his hair, his head and face would be shaped like an octagon. Funny enough, he looks the EXACT same as his initial design. Also, I'd like to imagine that he has these octagon pattern on his suit like the hero suits from Miraculous Ladybug.
Nine 📷
His design has the least details from all gijinkas. Same as I did for Eight, when I searched for his gijinka designs, it's either just sweaters or jackets. Like please.. don't do him like that man..(the mask is smart tho)
SOO I hc him as a photographer. Since wiki only gave me limited desc, this was a good start on his design. I gave him a trenchcoat for silhouette, square glasses, a scarf shaped like his number, and a square buckle.
I also hc him as an old film enthusiast (bcs of the Nine Times Table debut).
Ten 🚀
Last but not least, Ten! She also has a canon j*b, it's easy to integrate her elements to her gijinka design. Funny how she looks younger than the others, especially when you compare her to Five's design.
Of course, since she's THE rocket, I gave her rocket shoes! The “window” of the rocket being her kneepad. Then, to balance the visual weight of her rocket shoes, I added a saucer-like shoulder pads. Made her gloves bigger and longer too for the same reason. (And also to contrast Five's smaller hands and feet) And then, I added her number as a buckle.
Her hair also forms a ten if you look closely! And I took inspiration from a certain character and gave her peekaboo hair. (I wanted her to wear an actual astronaut suit but didn't for simplicity..)

-Her main occupation is like sound mixing for a broadcasting station like I'd think so, and now a list of shit she also does: DJ-ing, late night show hostess (and obv gameshow hostess), she's a SoundCloud rapper 100% lmao, annd she has done sound mixing at live concerts (namely 50's and like 5's ), also as a step squad she's a part of MI-15 and is on call (bc ofc this organization would, i am going to analyze this thing i swear)
- I feel like she be making bank from these, good thing bc im giving her a gambling addiction hell yeah, (she and 7 are exes {mutually} they do go gambling together as like a bonding activity lmao also he's too lucky for his own good)
- the gambling addiction and her general income lets her keep her apartment in that one ep (im pretty sure 6-9 all live in the same apartment complex, I'm going to add more people in there bc like that's only 4 people ;v;) them rooms are pretty big though
-I think she's like very unapologetic for her actions lol, girl doesn't know what embarrassment is
- guys i forgot about the pattern palace(s?) okay so im translating that into like a board game café, that's like really extravagant for whatever reason, and is also (again for some reason) heavily protected
7:
- Rainbow mannnn gay ass guyyyyy (actually he's bi with a preference for men i think), despite his lucky nature I have given him an office job in order to like dampen his whimsy (or for his whimsy to take over the 9-5) also unemployment is bor i n g (i will one day make a list of who else is in that office building besides 7, 8 and 9)
- As stated before he was dating 6 for a time they kind of just drifted apart and decided they were better off as friends, he would have a gambling addiction if it were fun for him, the predictability of everything saps the fun (and therefore the addictive-ness) out of it (hence why he does it with 6, thrill factor restored somewhat, though 6 can keep on going long after he's mentally done with it)
- he's actually a brunette and has severe hair damage from keeping it rainbow all the time imo lmfao, IT'S FOR THE ASTHETIC OKAY?
- anyway i shoved him in a polycule with 8 and 9, why? bc think about it, twink man with 2 stronk men okay, you get the vision, thank you I'll see myself out (they all moved into the same living space after a while obv)
8: okay so this one's going to be a fun one
- in here, universe thing, it has been quite a while since he's turned into octoblock (idk a different hero name to give him so we're keeping this one) so all the body horror stuff has passed already but it took a while for his faux arms to form, he spent quite a while under intensive care in order to accommodate the effects of coming into contact with a radioactive octopus. Surprisingly he did not get terminal cancer (somehow), MI-15 probably provided him his like hero HQ thing after he recovered to a decent degree (and the radiation for some reason gave him superhuman abilities)
- the effects of radiation are like moreso on and off things, basically he has chronic pain type thing, his skin has a permanent tinge of fuchsia, and he's often in a state of weakness (and often attends his work through virtual because he physically can't move but capitalism), not to mention the extra limbs requiring maintenance checks because those things did not have bones in them, and unfortunately he did not come in until the growths were genuinely arm length (too much blood would have been circulating in there to safely remove them) so they're mechanically boned and operated. (By no means is he like soft but the impact of radiation can be debilitating)
- when he isn't in excruciating pain he's pretty efficient being a hero and in teh workplace, charismatic man, has flirted with the entirety of his sect of the office and managed to pick up 2 guys like that lmao, stonks lol
- I feel like he's more begrudging to accept help when he is having major symptoms of radiation poisoning (bc that comes back for reasons like what the hell that's actual hell)
9:
- He's a squareee, no really, he's a square, very much the guy who wants to get out of the office however he's compelled by some mysterious force to actually do a good job, because money is important i guess
- the square polycule broke up btw that's like a thing yeah unfortunate bc it did last quite a while (obviously that was a bit sour and painful for like a few weeks or so [i have yet to figure that reason out but the me reason is because i realized the age gaps become way too wide and it was highkey scaring me, also 1x2 my love my life- okay so yeah]) but like during (or maybe slightly before that) 8 did catch his attention in like a /neg way but he doesn't have much of a pokerface so he was quite targeted with the oh so terrible attempts lmao
- he was then adopted into a closed polycule, tbh he was pretty skeptical abt it hence the distance (also concidering the square poly broke adding to the distance) the other 2 kinda let him go at his pace I'd think (definitely the most caretaker-like out of all of them though)
- as mentioned before he does perform magic shows after his day job, very much the highlight of his night, these shows make a decent amount of money but unfortunately he can't really justify leaving his 9-5 for it
- 10 is a really good friend of his and they do like really strenuous physical activities together (or casual activities) probably met at her gym or smth
10:
- she founded the first space program in numberland (well yeah she's a rocket in canon universe) mainly funded by MI-15 mainly because, she's a step squad, and also space exploration is like a new frontier thing + set up for the other space eps- despite founding all this she insists in being very active in the exploration bit
- she also owns a gym, which she personally uses extensively as she actually goes to space, takes a fuck ton of physical strength to keep yourself from breaking in 0g for a long time, so yeah she's like lowkey obsessed with her health and excited to share her enthusiasm with others (9 basically)
- the sun is her enemy, she will burn, she has nO melanin, genuinely hates putting on sm skin care (and still getting burnt), she has like perpetual star-shaped burns where her glasses don't cover on her face [jsyk red lenses are fun as hell <- from someone who has red transition lenses I advocate for them] despite this she likes being outside
- ah yeah she has albinism, if it wasn't clear enough yeah, except I gave her coils instead of whatever I did the first time
-bc of a few eps I feel like she's very active in like 3's acting/entertainer career yeahh supportive friendship
-shes also on call as a stepsquad, moreso active bc her dept and resources are all 'property' of MI-15
