This was my first grade teacher at Saint Mary's Catholic School in Rockville, Maryland. She was cruel, and did some horrible things. My parents told her that I couldn't drink milk, so she kept me in at recess, held me down, and poured milk down my throat. The whole time she would say, "It's not normal for a young boy not to drink milk." She continued to do it, despite a note from my pediatrician. But I had it easy - what she did to the kids who sucked their thumbs was #evil . She soaked their thumbs in floor cleaner, and then forced them to suck their thumbs again. Still, she took pride in caring about her students.
