The Last Typewritten Line to “Violet Evergarden Ep.13″
So in case you are curious what this last line means, me and my friends figured it out and it say:
Thank thee love
How we (me, @hukkini and @raven-sound) figured it out is under the cut~
DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT A 100% ACCURATE ANSWER but from the number of tests and sources researched, this is what we came up. So if there's something wrong I apologize beforehand... /_\
So upon watching the final episode to "Violet Evergarden", me and my friends were curious about what this last line means. And with that, the 3 of us are up to crack the case.
~ VIOLET EVERGARDEN DECRYPTION SESSION ENGAGE ~
According to this Reddit thread, the world of VE uses this made-up language called "Nunkish". After some experimentation, they figured out that to decipher "Nunkish", you'll need to go from Nunkish to Tamil and then you can translate it to English. The Reddit feed also explains how they figured out this process so I definitely suggest you go check it out if you're into fictional languages. :)
We first start off by changing the VE script into Roman Alphabet, and from there this is what my friends came up with:
Nun annut ruhuqirrikon
Here are some pictures posted by people online, we suggest you compare multiple sources (here and here) so you can get closer interpretations.
After that, I ran the "Nunkish" transcription program provided by Reddit and entered the words one-by-one.
All you have to do is press the green "play" button to run the program, and when the panel on the most right shows "Input nunkish:", fill in the words one by one. It will automatically help you transcribe the word into Tamil and then finally into English.
And from there, this is what we came up for the three words.
So we're close to getting something for the 2 other words, but then we have a problem with the first one. Since "nunki" is a common Nunkish word that appears in VE, especially with the number of written letters about "thank you", we think that "nun" is probably a short form for "nunki".
Thus to conclude, the final translation we came up is:
THANK THEE LOVE
Thank you my friends again for the help, happy crying everyone! :D
