Here's a much better photo of yesterday's attempted shot sans Meowzalina and draped collar. It's a mini watercolor painting that Laurie of @lauriescharmingdesigns charming designs sent me earlier. She's very kind and I appreciate her. She's been an online friend for a long time! We "met" while blogging. The tatted doily underneath is from the "Jasmine" plate doily set from a Dover book entitled "The Tatter's Treasure Chest, edited by Mary Carolyn Waldrep. It's found on pages 58-59 and 67. I tatted it over 20 years ago in size 10 thread. I did it in size 10 to show my students I was teaching at the time that you don't have to tat in smaller sized crochet threads to make something pretty. It's a very simple pattern that someone who has recently learned to tat could do.
