Brew Age Nuss Knacker Barleywine (Picked up at BILLA in Vienna). A 3 of 4. Generally what you’d expect from a barleywine, with aggressive caramel sweetness and some faint roasted nut notes and just a touch of winter warming spice. There’s bitterness here but it’s not particularly distinct, and the alcohol is somewhat present towards the finish.
