Hey all I did another coloring!

This was drawn by my good friend @nutella-fandom and she very graciously let me have a go at coloring it!

Here’s hoping I got the power of Wonder Woman channeled through the colors~

I love and relate most to Pearl. Her character and development during the Week of Sardonyx helped me with my own character development. Like her, I look to others for validation and confidence. Often I feel like a “Defective Pearl.” I don’t fit the role others pushed on me and I fear making mistakes so much that I end up making more mistakes. So in “Friend Ship,” when Garnet told Pearl that her confidence must come from herself and she is her own gem, I felt like Garnet was talking to me too. This is why I will always love and defend Pearl. We both need to be our own gem.

1. What was the last movie you watched?    The first Pirates of the Caribbean movie - it was on TV.

2. What was the last song you listened to?    I’ve been listening to Raincloud Chill by Brad Breeck (from We Bare Bears) on repeat for the past 10 minutes, but before that I was listening to Bang my Head - David Guetta.

3. What was the last show you watched?    I just rewatched the episode Friend Ship - Steven Universe

4. What was the last book you read?    I don’t remember. I’ve been reading journal articles for communication skills for one subject, and about constipation in people with Parkinson’s for another.

5. What was the last thing you ate?    pork and beans.

6. If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be?    the moon.

7. If you could pick a decade to travel back to which would you pick?    90s. there were these awesome old games on the old computer that i can’t even remember the names of now.

8. If you won the lotto and millions of cash, what would be the first thing you would do?    probably go into shock. then buy myself a nice place.

9. What fictional character would you like to hang out with for a day?    Ice Bear. cooking.

hi there! you have such beautiful art! i love your colors and style and all the Steven Universe! it's so pretty! it was your fusion shirts that first caught my attention! I'm a newbie when it comes to online art sales. Do you have any advice for artists like me who have a lot of art to sell but aren't so great at getting our work out there and noticed? Also, how much did you have to pay for your own t-shirts from your own society6 site? Thanks!

hey!!! first of all, thank you so much for your kind words. it means so, so much to me (♡´艸`)

secondly, for getting your art noticed, my best advice is to just draw a LOT, and frequently. it’s win/win -- you draw a lot, you improve, and when you post & tag your art you have a far better chance of your work getting out there. fanart is also a good way to be noticed since fandoms are big communities that love art of their fave series!! but really it’s all about drawing lots & posting it all over the place. tumblr, twitter, insta...and use tags!! they help people find it a lot more easily. i hope this helps a bit..i myself am still learning how to promote my stuff hehe ヽ(〃v〃)ﾉ
