Back to school and back to grocery shopping, cooking, meal prep and get lunch boxes ready every night or morning (depends on your schedule). Since our son was diagnosed with #type1diabetes and I did my #healthcoach training with #iinnutritionschool it takes me long time grocery shopping, now that I know what look for in a nutritional label and as a mom I want the best for my family. I like to look at the options the supermarkets give people. The items that are in front of our eyes on the shelfs or buy 1 get 1 free are usually not the best options (in general). I found this 2 products and wanted to give you an insight on the ingredients and nutritional label. The product on the left is a protein granola bar. I used to love this brand before reading on the package that is made with genetically modified ingredients. What? I almost fainted. I used to give this brand of bars to @emilioruizelcampeon on a regular basis. The product on the right are the famous fruit cups. If you look closely it says it has 14 gr of carbohidrates, but 12 gr in the form of sugar 🤯. Please offer REAL fruits to your kids... this is just full of no natural sugars. Would you like to know about the other ingredients on this and other products that are far from healthy? Let me know if you would like to learn more about this.
