These holiday-themed brownies are great for any event. Family and friends are sure to love them because they're rich, chocolatey, and sweet. For extra taste and texture, add chocolate chips and nuts. For a touch of holiday magic, dust with powdered sugar.
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter. 2 cups granulated sugar. 4 large eggs. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans optional. 1 cup chocolate chips or chunks optional. Powdered sugar for dusting optional.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips if desired. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs, but not wet batter. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar if desired. Cut into squares and serve. Enjoy your festive brownies!
