Soon as she heard the news, Agatha cleared her schedule for she knew her friend would need her. She couldn't imagine what it would be like for her, far along in her pregnancy with all it implied, now overwhelmed with worry for her cousin. Not giving it a second thought, the witch managed to grab some things she thought might be appreciated and apparated to the Malfoy residence. Giving her quick thanks to the house elf leading her towards the gardens where her friend was taking some air, she greeted her with a proper hug before taking the seat beside her. "I brought the wedding planning folder, some maternity books, sweets and snacks. A whole variety of options to keep your mind off things, but I also brought my ears and handkerchieves if what you need is talk, darling."

It appeared the sun had finally won its battle with the cloudy sky, casting the entire area in a soft spring glow. Flowers were blooming, and for some reason everyone’s mood seemed just a little better than the last few weeks. Perhaps the gloom of winter had been stashed away for another few months at last. Rita was enjoying the sun, happy to bathe in it and for once not paying the least bit of attention to her surroundings. For once the people could walk without the witch bothering to listen to whatever idle chatter, they felt the need to broadcast to ears they never expected to listen.

Finally, she spotted the blonde the journalist had been waiting for. Not that she was a journalist in this instance, no. Just a friend glad to see another friend. “Look at you. You’re glowing. Practically. Anymore and one might actually consider you a light.” It was a compliment, given because it was deserved. Rita got up and moved toward the other, for once pulling out a chair. “Come join me? I wasn’t sure if I should order anything specific for you.”

Cressida let her fingers move over the many white fabrics that were in the store as she moved through the store, waiting before a store clerk was ready to pick them up for the appointment. The blonde turned around so she could look at her future sister-in-law. Although, she already was in her opinion. It was only the official business.

"Are you ready for this? To find a dress and also get married to the doofus that is my brother?"

It had been a few months since the witch had last come face to face with Narcissa. First the wedding, then the little meeting in Hogsmeade. Estelle very much appreciated the older witch, despite them being much closer in age than some of the ones she found herself surrounded by at times. It was a sunny spring afternoon when she spotted the other in Flourish & Blotts, having come to pick up a few books on languages. “Narcissa. It’s good to see you! It’s been a while.” She smiled, genuinely finding herself with a need to show the respect that was due. Some people simply seemed to have that aura. “I do hope you’ve been well?”

Idle chatter, yet Estelle held the other in high esteem. It was a polite way to check up, considering herself acquaintances without wanting to assume too much. The witch was very much curious.

The brunette entered softly after the house elf showed her to where Narcissa would be. Her hands clasped delicately in front of her, she smiled at her old friend. “Darling, I hope I’m not intruding. I wanted to check in… see how you’ve been managing with the little one.” She glanced fondly toward the cradle, her voice gentle, curious. “I can hardly imagine balancing motherhood with everything else going on… you know, with… well, everything.” There was a touch of wistfulness in her tone, a quiet longing for the stage of life she hoped was soon hers, while maintaining that careful neutrality she had learned to hold in the face of the rising tension in the wizarding world.

As the wedding had come and go, Agatha had finally taken some time to breathe and relax, which was something she barely allowed herself when it was time for a huge wedding to be planned. Surely there were more to come, but with her job done and feeling quite good about it, the witch had been looking forward to this particular day. Narcissa had recently come back from her honeymoon and it was due time for the witches to get together and gossip, at the very least. A quick owl exchange had been enough to have everything settled and Agatha arrived on the clock, knowing her friend would be there just in time as well. “Look at you, that married glow!” The brunette exclaimed as she saw the blonde, a wide smile on her lips as she walked over to give her a warm hug. “I want to know everything, how was the honeymoon? Did you two have a good time?”

As wonderful and dreamy as weddings were, Agatha could be realistic about one thing: the bride and the groom needed a break from greeting every single guest. She’d been patiently waiting for Narcissa to get through the most important guests before she gently tapped on her shoulder and gestured for her to follow her towards the dressing room. Once they were alone, the witch couldn’t help but tear up at the sight of the blonde in all white and the happiest of expressions in her face. “You really do look lovely, sweetie. I thought you might needed a little space to catch your breath.”
