The newest to the region, a number may not seem like much of a symbol, but when it is considered that the number “6″ is considered lucky, and that the number is considered the first “perfect” number. The colors themselves are also important. Crimson for the power they hope to capture, even as a new region; gold, for the wealth they seek; and black for the willingness to do whatever is necessary to assert and keep their newly found sovereignty.

Women taking on physical roles has not always been the norm, but it is an important part of history to this region, and so they have chosen the “riveters,”  the women who went to work in factories when the men could not and thus opened the world’s eyes to the power of women, as their symbol. The red symbolizes the power sought and cherished by the people, the blue serves as a reminder of the deep history their name and region possess, and the white is for the shine of the glory they seek.
