Nike Women's Marathon
I did it! I am so proud of my body for being able to do 13.1 miles in 3 hours and 7 minutes. I did have a goal of 3 hours and I'm a little disappointed in my actual run performance, but I did it! I know my performance was on me - since nonno died in early September, I hadn't been connecting to my runs like I had previously. Running really is all mental, and when you're not there, you really aren't there. Once I can walk again like a normal person, I will totally look into doing more 10ks and maybe another half. I would love to get down to between 2:30 and 2:45. My goal for the rest of this week is to hit my calories and not go over since I won't start an workout routine for at least a couple of days. Go me!
