Everyone is invited to join us for the NW Marine Art Works 3rd Annual Open Studios & Summer Celebration! Saturday, July 20th, 2pm-8pm. Live music, food and drinks! Free and open to the public. Family-friendly.
We're a group of 65+ artists and craftspeople located in the heart of NW Industrial Portland (two blocks north of Montgomery Park). For this once-a-year event we open our doors to the public. Meet artists, tour spaces, shop art, learn techniques and explore this vast complex of World War II-vintage buildings.

“GRIDS WITHOUT BORDERS”
Description: Math—Art—Physics combine to inform the works of Reginald Brooks. Most recently, the PRIMES and NO-PRIMES have been found to form a definitive pattern upon the same matrix grid (BIM) that also describes the Inverse Square Law and Primitive Pythagorean Triples. Go figure!
“PRIMES vs NO-PRIMES”
In this body of work, each individual acrylic painting is an interpretive reflection on the actual matrix grid (BBS-ISL Matrix = BIM) that reveals the NO-PRIMES pattern.
