Max breathes against his lips, but daren’t lean in further or kiss him. Why would she? It was always more fun to tease Luke.
”You say that like you have a problem with it.”
It's hard for Luke not to lean in the rest of the way and kiss those soft lips teasing him; torturing him. Their breath mingles and he breathes in her air as she breathes in his. They're so close and her words are so distracting. They're so close he could "accidentally" brush his lips against hers. But he doesn't want a quick taste -- a barely there kiss that will only have him wanting more. Because if there's one thing Luke hates, it's not getting what he wants.
"You obviously don't."

Max leant against the doorframe of the bathroom. If Giselle had seen her approach, she gave no indication of it and Max decided to wait a while before she announced her presence. Instead, she lingered in the door way and allowed her gaze to rake over the French woman as she preened herself in the bathroom mirror.
It was no longer than a minute before Max finally took a step into the room, “You look nice.” An idle comment as she moved to stand behind Giselle. Fingertips travelled lightly over the killer’s arms, upwards until she reached her shoulders and Max allowed her hands to rest there. She studied their reflection for a moment before her eyes were drawn downwards to bare shoulders and Max angled her head lower to press her lips against Giselle’s skin.
The detective lingered there for a moment before her lips moved further across the girl’s shoulder to the base of her neck where she paused, “Going somewhere nice?” The question was half murmured against Giselle’s neck before Max continued the journey in placing kisses over her neck, moving upwards towards her jaw.
Giselle hates getting ready for parties. It requires so much work: hair, makeup, dress. She doesn't need it. She's perfectly fine in loose clothing and minimum makeup with her hair in a ponytail. She's not in the mood for big fancy parties anyway. But when mother says jump...
She feels eyes on her and ignores them. it could be one of a select few people. None of whom worry her. She hums and continues her work. She has to look p e r f e c t. As always. They step in behind her, and a grin spreads across Giselle's face at the sound of the detective's voice. "Thank you. It's good to know my work can be appreciated..."
A shiver runs down her spine at Max's finger trail up her arms. Giselle loves a light touch. She gets all the best tingles through her whole body. Leaning back into the other woman just slightly, she lets herself enjoy the kisses Max presses into her skin. "Yes, a black tie gala," Giselle purrs as she tilts her head to the side to give her more room. "Mother wants me to accompany Luke. Make him look good and more personable."
