The movement stops for a moment when Navi draws her blade. A simple ‘Hm’ is heard. Rather closely at that.

The twisting shadows that were following after her whips it’s way into view, fluttering around her playfully before settling some distance in front of her. It slowly begins to take form, collecting itself into a strange, tall monster. A snake-like tail that oozed, a thin upper body, and a gaunt, pale face that bore the same markings of a particularly malevolent monster she had come into contact with not long ago. The monster closes his eyes and inhales deeply before bowing his head.

“I apologize for frightening you. It probably would have been best for me to not stalk you as I did.” He raises his head and looks at her, eyes dancing about as he inspected her. She didn’t look half as bad as he thought she would after what sounded like a terrible experience with a demented scientist. He expected far worse. A broken body. Perhaps more obvious signs of corruption. She was quite intact. Though she was afraid, and understandably so. His eyes settle on the blade for several quiet moments and he moves back a little more before he looks her in the eye and manages a small, harmless smile.

“I’m... Well, I think you might know who I am, but I’d prefer that you call me Vile. My old name carries a lot of bad memories. I’m not here to hurt you though. I thought I might offer my services to try and help you instead.”

He was prepared for a negative response...

There were few things that made Tiko interact with Hylians. For the most part, he avoided those who were temporary--mortals whose entire lifetime would pass by in the blink of an eye. Only once every few years was he tempted into Castletown by the glittering lights and the sound of music. 

A festival, dedicated to the new year, filled with games and dancing and food and all sorts of temptations for a fairy such as himself. He used to traverse the party with ease, but since fairies had gotten less welcome, he found himself avoiding the attention he used to crave. Still, no matter how hard he tried to avoid it, each year he donned a cloak and threw himself into the celebration with gusto.

Normally he flits from one activity to another, only spending enough time to enjoy himself and get out before someone recognized he was a fairy. This time was different. This time he was the one who recognized a fairy-- a flash of blue, a rather disgruntled expression...

Tiko fought his way over, heart thrumming in his ears. He managed to get behind her, a wicked grin working its way across his features.

"I didn't think you were much of a party goer, Bluebelle."

“Aw, she’s trying to get rid of my mark. And she even thinks her ideas will work! How cute.”

Closed Starter for nxvigation

With a deafening explosion, Lira flies out of the portal’s twisting array of colorful particles and into the dark and misty Lost Woods. Lira doesn’t have a chance to catch herself before shooting face first into the ground.

“Ooooowww...” she mutters without lifting her head. “That really hurt.“

After taking a moment to collect herself, she starts to lift herself up, only to find a sword pointed directly at her.

this current event is pretty sad for him.

MM– I’d say right after Zelda got turned to stone, or more accurately after the shock wore off and he was alone in the Minish Woods (right before he ran into Ezlo). It eventually hit him that he just lost his best friend, and if he can’t do what the king asked of him, she’ll be gone forever. 

He blamed himself for not taking the full hit of Vaati’s attack too. That shield was supposed to protect her, not himself.

         For what felt like hours, Navi simply held the hug, held him. Her tear-soaked face was buried in his chest, undoubtedly leaving spots of moisture behind; The fairy, however, couldn’t be bothered less. He was here. Real. She needed to hold him, feel his heartbeat, breathe his scent, to remind herself that this wasn’t a dream.

       Finally, she pulled away and began to wipe her face. “Nor did I,” She admitted, fighting (and failing) to keep her voice steady. “I thought…I really thought that you must have given up on me. I didn’t blame you, either, after what I did… Link, I’m so, so sorry. Every day, I regretted running. I wished to Hylia that I could go back and change things.”

   The hug must have lasted for several minutes, time seeming to stand still around them as the Hero just held tightly onto his friend, tears of his own now rolling down his cheeks, staining the fairy’s shirt the same as his. And yet, when she pulled away, Link could feel how his heartbeat sped up in fear, hold on her momentarily intensifying before he reluctantly released her, instead placing his hands onto her shoulders. It was childish, but somehow he couldn’t help but feel as though Navi was going to disappear again as soon as he let go completely.

    ❝I'm glad. I’m so glad you’re here. I’m-❞

   He broke off mid-sentence with a sniffle, bringing up one hand to wipe at his own tears, mirroring the blue haired fairy. When was the last time he had cried like that? He barely even remembered...

     ❝Where have you been all these years? I-I was looking everywhere! I thought you had... I thought...❞

Navi stared at the tall blonde in front of her, feeling somewhat intimidated. This woman didn't look like someone to mess around with-- but such was Navi's job. She took a deep breath before speaking. "Hey, excuse me, but what exactly are you doing here?"

“Business. My own. Minding it. You should try- you’rebluewhyareyou-what?” Doll turned to face the shorter girl, not expecting any part of what she saw to be unusual. “Who are you?”
