New Yorkers For New Yorkers
As a New York native, I have been lucky enough to benefit from numerous public arts programs, amazing teachers and the pulsating artistic vibe that calls NYC it's home. Today, these programs, teachers and our special vibe is being threatened. On Thursday night, please join myself and others as we form The Board of New York Natives: a collective group of New Yorkers that are invested in the artistic future of this city. We'll be drinking (obviously), dancing to classic hip hop and soul while talking about an arts benefit and children's festival to be planned for late December. Even if you can only come for a drink or a quick hello, please make an effort to get involved. We're very excited about the future of this collective and the resources we may be able to provide for the next generation of New Yorkers. We hope to see you there!
