Bestfriend Peonies
I miss this amazing woman!
Tine Simi and I got best friend tattoos, and now we are peony sisters for life
This is a photo of me by my best pal Tine Simi from our trip to her cabin at sea last new year. I wanted to post a photo of me today where I look happy. Because today it is one year since I got the life changing news that I had a cancerous tumor in my belly that had spread to my lymphs. I remember the day really clearly, because what I thought was going to be a quick check up ended in a tearlong 10 hour stay at the hospitals with several scans and bloodtests. I feel weird about this day approaching, because I when I was hospitalized last year, all I kept thinking: “Imagine a year from now”. Now I am. And it`s still an aftermath to consider both mentally and physically and I look back at the year that was prompted on me as one of the hardest thing I have ever gone through. However, I am super proud of myself and forever grateful to the incredible friends and family that I have. Even though it was a terrifying year with so many bad days, there was also a huge wave of love and affection.
