Hello anonnie, yes I got your two asks about this relating to the Stardew Impact series xD After a long time pondering over it, I decided to keep the imagine separate from the masterlist because in the near future, I plan to write wedding+proposals etc HCs in a more elaborative manner (just not Stardew Valley related lmao).
But I can still answer this a little bit uwu
Honestly there isn’t much difference comparing their married life to their already domestic life in the farm. Always giving the other a helping hand, going on trips to different places like Zuzu city, raising the animals at the farm.
As for the proposal part (without getting too much into detail cuz I wanna save some for later xD)
Diluc would be the most stressed. He’s a perfectionist, he wants to get it all right but of course, only Gus knows about it. It would most likely be during a night time scenery, in Cindersap forest. It was where he had his first imagery of his future with you, where the kids played on the swings, that memory never left him since.
Kaeya...his style of proposing is rather smooth and suave that you didn’t realize he was going to propose! I’m 1000% sure he’s not afraid to do a public proposal but settles for a private one regardless at the center of the town during the very late late night. He hugs you for a long time in utter silence, that destiny had finally granted him the solace he was looking for.
Albedo doesn’t believe in proposals as they are much similar to superstitions: a way for humans to feel accomplished, secured, satisfied. For him, he found no reason to go for the mermaid’s pendant because as long as he was in love with you, why would he need a necklace to prove it? Ah but the curious alchemist was drawn to the concept anyways and through extensive research he caved in. Location? In the mountains.
Childe always wanted this. He dreams a big family with you someday, a feast during the wedding event where his entire family and relatives would gather to sing Snezhnaya songs, dance to folk music and play traditional games with snow. But because of his duties as a Harbinger, he had to hold back...not anymore. The way he proposes is casual, right out of the blue, cheerful and without a shred of hesitance. He just knew you’d say yes. (Location? Honestly anywhere)
As for Xiao, he only heard of proposals but truly thinks that you both are already married HA. “ It's too late. The connection between us is too strong,” so you were already tied to him before you could even point it out. Since he’s so respectful towards Rex Lapis, Xiao would never use a mermaid’s pendant as he would stick to Liyue’s traditions. Married or not, through sickness and health, through hurdles and celebrations, he will follow you to the ends of the earth.
I woke up with a bird brain today and I just wanna share my thoughts. Imagine a half adeptus s/o who has wings instead of horns, they’ll disguise it as a well detailed wing glider. Since Venti’s god form has wings I could imagine this two just going on a flight date, giggling like mischievous kids while racing in the sky of monstadt. Soft moments with Xiao tho 🥺, I could totally see him having sad moments under the rain and his s/o just came out to the roof and use their wing to shield him from the rain. Hahahhahahah Zhongli’s is a bit funny cause his so tall. S/o tries to engulf him with their wings but his just too tall.

I can see that if s/o were to disguise her wings, they would have walk around town and most likely the people would be curious why someone is wearing a wing-glider 24/7 lolol Venti comes in and sweeps them away from the crowd and take them to somewhere faraway, like a mountain or hill. He would be so down to teach s/o how to fly or at least give her a chance to fly freely xD He's the wind god after all! Venti will be using his anemo powers while s/o is having the time of her life in the air.
S/o is willing to get her wings wet for the sake of Xiao >_< He would very worried over s/o since their wings are pretty big and fragile as well. He would not recommend them to use it as a shield either way. As for Zhongli, at least they can hug him!
Duuuudddeeee since Stardew Valley is in modern era Imagine the Isekai couple, not the star cross lover one I ain’t thirsty for angsts.... yet. ANYWAYZZZZ!!! Imagine them getting introduce to monopoly. The chaos is gonna be BEAUTIFUL!!! Childe is probably gonna be the most chaotic, he is so competitive! Xiao will probably rage quit! Kaeya, I can’t help but feel like his gonna cheat his way through the game....

Omg I haven't played monopoly in yEARS so bear with me if my rules are either old-fashioned or nonexistent xD Childe would probably be the type of guy who games on a regular basis (although not obsessively), playing monopoly with him would probably be the most enjoyable, as you've mentioned, chaotic (there is no party without chaos hurhur). I can totally see that Childe will get super duper in to the game maybe even taking it a tad bit too serious loser fights to the death.
Although Xiao may not be the type to indulge in miniscule activities, he most likely played some traditional Liyue boardgames before so this shouldn't be any different right? Ohoho but you just haaaaad to pick Kaeya and Childe as his opponents, god he wouldn't even rage quit from losing but rather because these two fools are just so damn annoying that he rather leaves willingly. But I could imagine that he isn't so bad at board games, pretty decent actually. He scoffs at it at first until more rounds come in, you notice that Xiao starts to take it more seriously especially when under the silver tongue of these two men.
Kaeya? Cheat? What are you talking about? Pffffft he does not cheat ;) though he makes you think that he is just to make things interesting. You can't even predict his strategy, either he had a plan in mind for victory or it just looks like he's stupidly screwing himself over with his choice. Who knows really, he just enjoys seeing his opponents stressing over what kind of path he's taking. Probably the type to leave you an open door, making you think that you'll win only to snatch the rug under your feet last minute. Infuriating I'm telling you.
I am a major xiao simp and seeing him or imagining him crying broke my heart. My boy needed a sign, I’m giving him one. Let’s say it’s been a year or two since Xiao disappear a lot of things happen like getting a surprise visit from our dead grandfather and his shrine having four lit candles the next morning and a big iridium bear just standing on his shrine. Okay nothing too fancy here, we’ve seen weirder stuff ever since going country, farmer is more concern of their missing void chicken.
The said void chicken somehow ventured out a lot further away from the farm and guess who found the chicken. Xiao was just patrolling like usual when he saw the unusual and definitely familiar black feathered chicken. It was beside the river, pecking at the ground and minding its own business when it was swoop up by the adeptus. Xiao followed (more like flew with how fast he was going) the river upstream with the chicken in hand and there at the very end is a very familiar farm.
Okay I’m gonna stop here because this is too long now and I’m having trouble finding words. Sorry if some stuff isn’t clear, English is not my mother tongue. I also could not think of anything with the other two because I really believe Childe will still choose his family and Zhongli got Thanos snap out of Stardew universe. That and I’m just a major bias hehehehe.
I can totally relate to the simp mode at an emotional level 😤 To be quite honest Xiao didn't appeal to me much until I wrote for him. Now I can't wait to write more in the future LOL But either way, I do think out of all the boys I wrote for the story, he has a higher chance of seeing MC again.
Xiao dearly misses MC. The way he just drugged her unconcious, without letting her say a word or even the comfort of knowing what was going on (like imagine MC waking up and be like "Xiao?" I headcanon she'd be wandering through the valley for days just to search for him, taking a while to accept that he was no longer there). From the way I understand, Xiao may be cold but he is completely selfless in a way that he doesn't want to hurt other people. He thought by leaving MC ignorant to everything would spare her the pain, it was all he wanted. Kinda shot himself in the foot with that one. Lack of closure leads to endless thinking and regret huehuehuhe.

(Tbh I haven't touched Stardew Valley since 1.4 cuz life so not too familiar with the updates xP) The shrine is such a good idea since both shrines in both worlds have magical powers. But their powers are also very limited. From Xiao's sidestory we can see how he conducts a ritual to summon the conartist and talk to his spirit. My memory has been a little hazy but I think we go and collect a bunch of stuff from run down temples? That was how we were able to activate the ritual. In terms of summoning someone from another universe, well...that's a little tricky. Logically you would probably need items from the other universe as well which Xiao did not bring much (other than the lucky charm you made him. Is that enough for a ritual? xD)
As for MC's case with her grandpa's shrine, although it was only capable of reaching out to grandpa but I. Believe. In. The. Power. Of. MANIFESTATION!!! Omg the fact that the person she loved just left her so abruptly was so conflicting for her. She has to vent. She vents to her grandpa and he listened to her wishes. And guess what? MC was able to travel in her spirit form to visit Teyvat yay!
She sees Xiao and she begins to talk to him but realized that she could not hear him for she was merely a mirage cultivate by the strong wishes they both had. So much to say and so little time, MC had to pick her words wisely even though she was angry at him for knocking her out but she was extremely overjoyed to see him again. Xiao intakes a sharp breath as if his heart stopped from the sight of your face, your gentle eyes, he runs into you without a second thought only to have your form ghost through his grasps...
"This...really isn't a dream, isn't it?"
Your voice was like an echo hailing from a place so far that he just knew how it would all end.
Xiao sometimes wondered if there was anything he could have done differently. A happier outcome? Was it possible when he was so binded by his duties towards the country he served for his whole life? Who knows really, all they had right now was this very moment and they had to make it count.

Ohmygod OHMYGOD!!!!! I’m fangirling so HARD!!!!! Now I’m just imagining after Xiao decided to stay, they live a relatively peaceful life together aside from the really weird things that happen.
I think once Xiao came to terms with his feelings and decision to stay his going to be overwhelm with sadness because he will watch farmer grow old and with his adepti blood he doubts he’ll grow with them. It’s a little unfair that even though he decided to stay, his beloved will someday go to a place he can’t follow. But then over the years he will notice that he IS growing older too. Did his choice to stay strip him off of being an adepti? Was he forgiven from his sin? Who knows and who cares, his just happy and excited for the future with his beloved. I’m crying and sobbing cause that’ll be beautiful... when they’re in their death beds, old and content, farmer suddenly feels sentimental and vow to find Xiao in their next life. Xiao agrees to do the same.
THEN he woke up, on the roof of Wangshuu Inn and he almost started sobbing. Of course it was just a silly dream. Who would forgive a monster like him? It was foolish to think otherwise. He should have expect for celestia to be so cru- “Um sir, are you allowed to sleep there?” A very familiar voice interrupted his thoughts. It was the farmer in Liyue clothing, looking at him in concern. Then he remember their vow for each other annnndddd I’m drawing a blank. Basically they met again but they’re in Teyvat, the person is definitely an reincarnate of farmer. Funnily enough they are also a farmer there and was going to offer to one of the adepti some offering for good health due to superstition and tradition of the old folk since Wangshu Inn is closest they decided to go there and ask then they met Xiao there and the poor boy probably tackle them to a hug after he gather some composure. Nah he did it out of impulse lol. I am also peacefully ignoring the any kind of lore cause I suck at processing info. I’m gonna stop here before it get any longer 😅

I made it canon that once anyone enters a new universe, some lores from their previous universe dont apply. Xiao can become human and I honestly think its both a blessing and a curse in his perspective. That being these weak mortal beings isn't so bad. As someone who loves the cold distant types (hence Im also a Diluc simp) I get the feel that they also end up being the most loyal.
But damn thats a lot of brain rot LMAO I tried my best to make it fluffy in the last ask yet you haaaaad to pull out that reincarnation-dream trope (ಥ﹏ಥ) Before Xiao tackles anyone into a hug he'd stare for a HOT minute, like suuper intensely which would unfortunately bring farmer to their knees but they couldnt run since that was the time Xiao just glomps them LMAO.
Since I’m getting kick out of the game yet again because of bad internet connection, imma play Stardew to just pass the time. So I decided to pay my forest farm a visit when it suddenly hits me
