Hien’s smile was contagious, causing her to wear one of her own as he ruffled her hair.
“Everything’s fine, I’m fine,” she answered as she clasped her hands behind her back. “The Scions are helping rebuild Rhalgar’s Reach, and Lyse is busy overseeing things. So I thought I’d come back and see how you guys were doing!”
In actuality, they didn’t want her help-- or rather, she had been given stern instructions to rest instead of poking her nose around looking for work . . .
