We extend our condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Mary Martin Niepold (‘65), who died Jan. 12. Mary Martin was a senior lecturer in journalism and associate professor of the practice in @wfuenglish. A journalist and editor for many years with the @phillyinquirer, The New York Times and the Associated Press, @wfuniversity she was honored with the Purpose Prize for her work as founder/president of @nyanya_project. The family plans a memorial service for 2 p.m. April 14 at Sandy Springs Meeting House in Sandy Spring, Maryland.
