The Blood Mother herself, the Queen of Night, Nyaxia
I just finished Crowns of Nyaxia and Oraya is definitely not a white chick in a dress. She is a Pacific Islander in leather armor 100% of the time.
Crowns of Nyaxia Prediction
Okay, I have a crazy ass prediction for Nyaxia/Alarus based on the motherfucking glossary. Obviously contains spoilers for books 1 and 2 of the series.
Okay, so at the end of book 2 when Nyaxia refused to grant the coriatis bond to Oraya and talks about love being better when it’s pure and left in the past. She says something similar back at the end of the first book. Which could just be immortal ennui or whatever. BUT!!!!
This brings us to the glossary entry for Alarus…which describes him as “CONSIDERED to be deceased”…. So what if he isn’t!!
What if that’s why Nyaxia is so bitter and sad at the end of the second book. It’s not just missing her husband, but he betrayed her love (exactly what she warns Oraya that Raihn will do BOTH times) or is forever separate from her. I’m thinking there’s a lot more to this story.
Here is some concept art and Illustration of one of my favourite book “Slaying the Vampire Conqueror“ by @carissabroadbent.
Their Nyaxia book series is magnificent and has really inspired me to do art again. If you like vampire dar romance stuff the crown of nyaxia novels are definetly omething for you. So give it a read :3
"He didn’t want me to jump because he didn’t want me to find out I could catch myself.” ― Carissa Broadbent, The Ashes & the Star-Cursed King
Currently reading the Crowns of Nyaxia books., which are set in an imaginary world with vampires.
There are two main stories and two side stories. I've read the first main story Serpent and the wings of night, the side story Six scorned roses and I'm now reading the second main story The ashes and the star cursed king. Later this year a new main story comes out: The songbird and the heart of stone. I can't wait to finish all the books before then, which at this rate will not be a problem 😊 I'm hooked!
Of course imagining one of the main characters Raihn Ashraj like this makes it complete. Art by @bookartby_amai on Instagram.
Somehow, I keep adding to my list of hot imaginary guys in books 😈
