#Repost @romeo_and_brix with @repostapp ・・・ So another two dogs are much speculated to be killed the NYCACC: Duchess and Lilac. And more will be killed. If you are able to help these dogs, please do not hesitate, they will be killed. Please adopt or foster them BEFORE 12pm by emailing [email protected] their volunteers will assist you through the process.
Animal Care & Control of NYC (AC&C) rescues, cares for and finds loving homes for homeless and abandoned animals in NYC. AC&C facilities operate in all five boroughs.
There are so many volunteer opportunities at the NYC ACC including walking dogs, pet photography, event counseling, and helping with administrative tasks. I just signed up for my orientation!
Dropping these off at the NYC ACC today!
You know what I want for my birthday? To see every one of the cats and dogs on the NYC ACC euthanization list pulled to safety by a rescue or public adopter today.
How can you help if you can’t adopt or foster yourself? Spread the word, but most importantly, if you have even $5 to spare, go to the link above and pledge just a little bit on even one of the animals listed there that’s on tomorrow’s list. The more pledges there are, the greater the chance a rescue will pull the animal.
I pledged for three MH/LH kitties I’ve been eyeing as possible friends for Thumper, but I just can’t take in another cat right now because he’s still not eating consistently. I figure I can budget meals and such for the next week or two if it means helping these critters to one day find a safe home.
we have until noon! Thanks, friends and followers :)
