Bowling on a Budget in NYC

Let's be honest, sightseeing lost its appeal to all New Yorkers way before COVID-19 even hit. Henceforth, in my trek to find things to do that are fun, affordable, and safe, I have come across the world of Groupon. If you want to bowl on a budget, keep on reading.

Bowlmor Lanes and Bowlero is the usual bowling spot in NYC. Although their prices are already pretty low, I found an amazing Groupon for Groups of up to 6 people. This deal will really become your wallet's best friend. It grants you two hours of unlimited bowling as well as shoe rentals for the price of $80. If you purchase the coupons for smaller groups, the prices adjust accordingly.

For those who are extra cautious about the virus, the facility shuts off every other lane to allow for social distancing. Additionally, masks are required at all times.

In my personal experience, there are a couple of things you need to keep in mind:

You need to purchase the Groupon 24 hours before you plan to visit Bowlero Lanes.

Bowlmor Lanes and Bowlero have weekend time restrictions.

No food and drink are allowed inside.

If you want to be extra cautious, I suggest you bring wipes to clean off the bowling balls you use.

There are more than 250,000 known species of Lepidoptera, of which about 18,000 are butterflies. Based on their anatomy, butterflies are classified into five families. This exhibition features butterflies from three of the families: the Pieridae (PYAIR-i-dee), commonly known as whites and sulphurs; the Papilionidae (pah-pill-ee-ON-i-dee), or swallowtails; and the Nymphalidae (nim-FAL-i-dee), which includes morphos, longwings, and others.

Weekly Finds
