Hello New York ( again)

New York is incredible.

Also, I saw Josh Groban today…

So I went to bed at 3:30 AM and got up at 4:45 AM to get to the school by 6AM to get on the bus. We stopped around 7:30 for a rest stop and got to the city around 9:30.

We went to a disney workshop and got split into two groups who each learned different dances from the play

My group learned the lionesses hunting and the others learned some of Circle of Life and they did better but our dance was cooler because our song was completely in African and their's was mostly in english

after that we went to lunch in times square and I didnt eat (wasnt hungry) and we went into aeropastel or however the fuck it's spelled and I didnt really want to be there but a friend wanted to look at sweatshirts and she found one but it was too much and we stood there looking awkward until this really hot ginger who worked there came over and was really nice and folded it for her and then we went all the way around the block looking for food that wasnt pizza and we ended up at mcdonalds. after that we went to the theatre but we were early so we went to the store across the street. I got a lion king keychain and the sheet music book for Les Mis (2012 movie version) and then we went to the threatre on time.

The play was so amazing I died so many times

Mufasa's death scene was particularly amazing

also kid Simba and kid Nala were adorable and all the actors and actresses were so awesome and Rafiki was played by a woman who was actually from South Africa and Scar was so cool and Zazu and Timon were both so sarcastic it was amazing and I just jslshdjfkgsk I wanna see it again *sigh*

so then we got on the bus and drove for an hour then stopped to get dinner at a mall

I still didnt eat (motion sickness and what not) but I did buy Perks of Being a Wallflower finally and read that in like 4 hours today and god DAMN

so then on the bus ride home the movie choices were Perks of Being a Wallflower (small world) Jaws, or A Midsummer Nights Dream. Jaws and Wallflower both got a high ammount of cheering but the guy who decided (our tour guide) picked Jaws, so I ended up curled up plugging my ears because I did not need to add blood and screaming to my motion sickness and actually be sick. when the movie ended everything was quiet and nice and just quiet conversations and I kept doing stupid thing so finally I was just like "I dont have a brain, I am a scarecrow" and my guy friend from my previous post said "Don't worry, I dont have a heart" and one of the girls behind me leaned forward after teaching us how to make footprints with our hands and said "I have a feeling you're a hufflepuff." and I nodded so she goes "I'm a slytherin." she paused, the (speaking about hufflepuff again) asked "Would you mind telling me what the hell that is?" and I laughed because I couldnt think of a good come back at the time but yeah

so then I went home and sang Les mis with debra then went to sleep and today I stayed home because I was too sore to move

First Day in NYC.

Well, for the most part I was on a plane. I got up at 5 and we left the house by 5:30. We took off at 7. A long flight but we were there by 2 o'clock eastern time. We got to the Renaissance Hotel right in Time Square. I was so excited to see it all. It's so amazing to be here. It didn't sink in till I was sitting in the hotel lounge looking out at Time Square. Man, it's beautiful here. We chilled in the hotel room till about 8 and then went out and walked around. It's so amazing out there, not that cold, so it was good. We ate dinner at Olive Garden and some Asian boy walking into the subway with rainbow hair waved at us and made me smile. Now we're in the hotel rooms chilling out.

Off to the city, here's to hoping todays a good one. Stoping at the metropolitan museum of art with phil and his friends, I've never been to the met before, so I can cross that off ma list. I love nyc. Sunlight over me, no matter what I do.
