just wanted to give you a shout out- this blog is so important and increases visibility of fresh tomboys everywhere. before this, I had never felt more in good company or proud to be who I am. i'm headed to NYC for a couple days over my next break from school - any suggestions for shops to check out? looking for clothes with an androgynous edge, but still gloriously flirting with that line of masc/fem.

Ooh I always end up walking through a stream of areas and I find things here and there, not where everything’s huddled in one spot like Soho (and I suggest exploring indie stores elsewhere) I can recommend you areas more than specific shops. areas w/ vintage and indie shops are: 9th st between 1st & 2nd ave, Bedford ave in Brooklyn, Brooklyn Night Bazaar on weekends, and check out this link and this for a scatter of shops in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
