These cookies are ideal for your New York City party! They're soft and chewy, with chocolate chips and nuts throughout.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 3/4 cup packed brown sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 large eggs. 2 cups chocolate chips. 1 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans.
Instructions: Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 375F 190C. Put the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl and mix them together. Cream the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl after the butter has been softened. One at a time, add the eggs and beat well after each one. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, mixing only until everything is well combined. Add the chocolate chips and chopped nuts and mix them in. Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto baking sheets that have not been greased. After the oven is hot, bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets before moving them to wire racks to cool all the way. Have fun with these tasty NYC party cookies!
