NYC Formula E Prix 🇩🇪 ______________________________________ [7/15/19] The Formula E championship in Brooklyn NY was a sight to see and I really hope you can try to make it next year! One of the main attractions (other than.. you know.. the race) was the “E Village” which compromised of some of the competing manufacturers and their EV vehicles, racing teams and developments! Above you can see the insane Audi PB18 concept which may be used to inspire the R8 replacement! Some other interesting cars on display was the Jaguar I-Pace e trophy race car which looks nuts in person and even had its own racing series at the Brooklyn track this weekend. The I-pace and Audi e-tron also were on display with Audi having their own private showroom just outside the Race perimeter! 🔥@Allcarnews MOTORSPORT🔥 Harley Davidson also showed off their new Livewire electric motorcycle, BMW with their new MINI electric and the i8 pace car, the MB EQC and loads of great food and stands to check out! Then of course are the Formula e- race cars themselves looking like these carbon fiber UFO’S! Their zooming sound supports that UFO statement too and it’s a lot louder than you might think! The cars and rules are pretty interesting so make sure to read up on all of that! The Gen2 Formula-e cars now get up to 250kW of power with around a 174MPH TopSpeed and even an “attack mode” where you get 24kw of extra boost at certain parts of the track! Also instead of traditional laps, the cars run for 45 min and then one extra lap after that expired time in a race.
