We found this awesome place on our way to my recording session in Chicago - @speedtrapdiner419 Had the best pancakes ever. They were HUGE! I could only make it through half of one, and brought the rest with us (see the giant, overloaded styrofoam container?). Went to Pio Bagels (everything with AVOCADO cream cheese!) yummmmm, then walked through a little bit of Old Brooklyn, warmed up in a West Elm (some day I might be able to afford a throw blanket) then to Brooklyn Bridge Park, ferried over to Wall Street (loved seeing the mix of old three-storied buildings among the ginormous skyscrapers) saw the bull and the Girl, Battery Park, anddddd that’s a wrap! So grateful to spend time with the IL-bestie and to start the new year with friends and family!

Seeing the thanksgiving day parade makes me want to be in New York City SOOOO bad. I think I have New York City fever.
